Welcome to Week 4 of the college football regular season, and we are 1/4 of the way through the year already. This week’s early slate has lots of stud options up top at QB and WR, so my preface here is that I will be alternating these top studs in and out of my lineups…
If you have been a follower/subscriber of DailyOverlay.com for some time, and you follow my work, you know I try to dabble in a lot of different sports. And I started splitting football duties this past week between college football and Week 1 of the NFL. But I feel like that spreads me super thin…
On your mark… Get set… Thwomp! That’s the sound of your face stumbling out of the gates in Week 1 of the 2019 College Football season. By “you,” I mean me. I stumbled out of the gates in Week 1 of the 2019 College Football season. So much for that cheap Alabama running back or…
For what is a niche DFS sport, it’s surprising and disappointing DraftKings and FanDuel don’t offer bigger contests in college football. I miss the days before CFB DFS was canned when $3 gave you a shot at $10K or sometimes more. But I guess those days are gone. Anyway, we have to enjoy college football…
Football has returned! It is glorious and for the next several months, the greatest sport in the world tugs at our heartstrings and has us checking our fantasy lineups everywhere. This week we get the return of college football, starting with a small, but great, 6-game slate. Then Week 1 gets us rocking and rolling…
It’s rivalry week in college football….or at least one of the many. But there are three key rivalries this week on the DFS main slate on DraftKings. There’s OU/Texas, LSU/Florida and Florida State/Miami. These rivalries aren’t what they once were, but I think Texas/OU is the game of the slate. Anything can happen in this…
This week in college football is Big 12 country. The early slate, which will be our focus today, features 8 of the 10 teams in the Big 12 (yes, there are only 10 teams in the Big 12). There’s a huge matchup between West Virginia, who travels to Lubbock for an early date with newly…
I’ll be honest, I don’t love this week’s slate of games for the early slate. The evening slate on DraftKings has a few more games I feel comfortable targeting and games that should be entertaining. But DraftKings shit the bed with their evening contests and they are virtually unplayable. So we are going to do…
I never thought this day would return. I never thought I would be writing another Power Five or ever being able to play college football DFS. But by golly, this mother f***** is baaaack! The last time we could play college football on DraftKings, Jake Browning and Myles Gaskins were freshmen, Kyler Murray was a…
Forty bowls, and only three really matter. That’s the college football postseason in a nutshell. With the College Football Playoff coming to the end of its second year, we now get to enjoy a few more meaningful bowl games. Don’t get me wrong, I love bowl season. It extends college football for another month, but…
Sigh, it’s the final regular season week of the 2015 college football season, BUT it’s also the first week of the CFB postseason (in my book). Lots of bowl/College Football Playoff decisions will be made by the outcomes of Saturday’s championship contests. The games everyone will have their eyes on: Michigan St. vs. Iowa –…
If you are reading this, my daughter, Harper, has arrived. My wife and I are patiently waiting for discharge from the hospital. Due to the birth of my daughter and an oblong slate of games this weekend, the Power 5 will give you picks to use Friday and Saturday (Early only) on DraftKings. Not going…
