The regular season has concluded and it’s gone by way too fast. There is still some drama to be had this weekend in the championship games. Personally, I’m rooting for complete chaos so we can get to a 6 or 8 team playoff quicker. We will produce a Consensus article for Championship Week that will be graded. With one week left before we crown a champ, here’s your Week 13 recap!

On to the Week 13 grades, class is in session!
Consensus Recap – Week 13
The Consensus stayed consistent with last week. A 2.66 score positioned the Consensus in 8th out of the 16 experts that submitted selections.
Overall (Score: 2.66 / Rank 8th out of 16) – Six of the 29 total plays finished with an “A” or better grade. That included “A+” grades from Tua Tagovailoa, Eno Benjamin, Travis Homer and Rondale Moore.
Head of the Class – Week 13
Each week I will highlight a few of the top experts for the week. Here are the experts that deserve a “gold star” for Week 13 based on their cumulative grades for all players they touted this week. Overall, the scores were a bit lower than the previous week.
#1) Daily Overlay Single Pick (Score: 5.00) topped the list again with an “A” grade from Trace McSorley.
#2) Sporting News (Score: 4.40) finished in the top-2 as they score two “A+” grades, two “D” grades and one failing score. The “A+” scores came from Tua and Rondale Moore.
#3) RG CFB Marketplace Projections (Score: 3.93) made it back-to-back weeks in the #3 slot. Six of their 15 plays scored an “A” or better including “A+” grades from Tua, Eric Dungey, Eno Benjamin and Moore. They were the lone expert site to recommend Eric Dungey.
Head of the Class – Week 13 (By Position)
Sometimes there is just that one class that you excel in. In this section, I will highlight who the top experts were at each position for Week 13.
QB – RG CFB Marketplace Projections (6.60) had a solid day at the QB position. Tua and Dungey provided “A+” scores while Dwayne Haskins and Trace McSorley scored “A” grades. As said above, they were the only site to play Dungey and his “A+” score.
RB – DFS Karma (5.00) hauled home an “A+” with Benjamin and a failing grade from Anthony McFarland.
WR – Sporting News (5.00) scored an “A+” with Moore and a failing grade from Jalen Hurd.
Study Time – Week 13
If we are going to give a gold star to the top experts of the week, we also need to determine which experts might need to put in some extra study time to pull up those grades. Here are the Week 13 experts that didn’t make the grade this week.
- Rotoworld (Score: 0.88) didn’t score higher than a “C” with any of their eight plays.
- Sportsline (Score: 0.00) picked up two failing grades to hit rock bottom in the final regular season week.
Extra Credit – Week 13
In this section, I will look to give some extra credit to experts that received an A+ grade for a player where they were the lone expert to recommend. Week 13 extra credit goes to the following:
A+ – Lamical Perine (DailyRoto)
A+ – Eric Dungey (RG CFB Marketplace Projections)
A+ – John Lovett (Fantasy Alarm)
A+ – Nick Westbrook (Fantasy Alarm)
Head of the Class – Season
Here are the top experts in the Overall Standings after Week 13 of the season. Our in-house Single Pick still tops the list after the regular season.
#1) DailyOverlay Single Pick (Score: 4.14) utilized McSorley to bump the score a bit and maintain the hold on 1st place. Greg and I have put together a solid season, if I might say so myself.
#2) DFS Karma (Score: 4.02) took a small step in the wrong direction but remains one of two have a DO score north of the 4.0 threshold.
#3) RG CFB Marketplace Projections (Score: 3.98) stayed flat in a week that saw them stay within striking distance of the top spot.
#4) RG Consensus (Score: 3.72) should maintain a spot in the top-5 when all is said and done.
#5) Sporting News (Score: 3.59) hopped up a bit in score and sits comfortably inside the top-5.
The DailyOverlay Industry Consensus moved up one spot in to an 11th place tie in the overall standings out of 26 experts with a DO score of 3.00.
