NFL – Week 6 Showdown (Thursday) – NYG v NE
NFL DFS Showdown – Week 6 (Thursday) – NYG v NE
We’re not going to talk about my Monday night showdown lineup as I clearly had a bad read on the matchup. Instead, we’ll jump right back in with a Thursday night tilt between the Giants and Patriots. This game seems to be a pretty obvious lineup build for Cash games, get as much Patriots exposure as possible while just using the bare minimum one player from the Giants.

New York Giants @ New England Patriots
Team | QB | RB | Right | Slot | Left | TE | D | K | Vegas |
New York Giants | 34 | 35 | 28 | 20 | 30 | 46 | 44 | 16 | 42.5 |
New England Patriots | 69 | 57 | 68 | 77 | 73 | 51 | 67 | 64 | -16.5 |
King
- Tom Brady – Even if the Patriots blow out the Giants, Brady should get plenty of fantasy production along the way to the big lead. He has scored at least 23 DraftKings points in each of the Patriots three blowout wins this season.
Cash Core
- Sony Michel – We have the Patriots passing game covered with Brady, now pair him up with the primary Patriots back used on the ground and in the red zone with Michel. The Giants rush defense is better than their pass defense but if the Patriots are working with a big lead, Michael should get plenty of touches including goalline carries.
- Patriots D/ST – Round out the core Patriots trio with their defense which as been lights out this season racking up double-digit DK points in all four games and now gets to face a rookie QB who has limited healthy options at the offensive skill positions.
- Cody Latimer – If I must roster a Giant, which DK says I do, then give me the cheapest option they have who has the potential to see a few extra looks with a depleted Giants receiving corps.
GPP
I’m going all-in with bad weather equals lack of offense for my GPP lineup. This will include rostering both D/ST with the Patriots in the King slot. I’ll then follow that up by focusing the rest of my lineup with a combination of running backs and receivers that are typically targeted on short routes such as James White, Julian Edelman, and Golden Tate. Full fade of both QBs. It’s risky and will leave you with a ton of salary leftover but that is what it takes sometimes in these Showdown GPPs.
