What a week from the experts! Week 12 was, by far, the best overall week we’ve seen from the CFB experts since we started this site. The bottom-2 experts had scores that normally finish in the middle-of-the-pack each week. On to the Week 12 grades, class is in session!

Consensus Recap – Week 12

The Consensus had a really solid Week 12. A 3.95 score positioned the Consensus in 15th out of the 21 experts that submitted selections.

Week 12 (Score: 3.95 / Rank 15th out of 21) – The score was significantly better in Week 12; however, everyone else had a better score, too. Big jump in score, dropped a couple spots in overall rank for the week. Eleven of the 38 plays scored an “A+” grade.

Head of the Class – Week 12

Each week I will highlight a few of the top experts for the week. Here are the experts that deserve a “gold star” for Week 12 based on their cumulative grades for all players they touted this week.

#1A) Daily Overlay Single Pick (Score: 10.00) got back on track by going back to the Chuba Hubbard well and his “A+” score.

#1B) DailyFantasyInsider (Score: 10.00) also played Hubbard and his “A+” score.

#3) Awesemo (Score: 8.33) scored five “A+” grades and one failing one with their six plays.

Head of the Class – Week 12 (By Position)

Sometimes there is just that one class that you excel in. In this section, I will highlight who the top experts were at each position for Week 12. There was at least one expert that had a perfect score at every position.

QB – Rotoworld, Awesemo (10.00) both scored two “A+” grades at the QB position.

RB – Four Tied (10.00) with perfect scores. Awesemo was the only expert with a perfect score to make more than one play at the position.

WR – NumberFire (10.00) played Dillon Stoner for an “A+” at the WR spot.

Study Time – Week 12

If we are going to give a gold star to the top experts of the week, we also need to determine which experts might need to put in some extra study time to pull up those grades. Here are the Week 12 experts that didn’t make the grade this week.

• Fantasy Alarm (Score: 3.35) somehow found the bottom-2 with a 3.35 score. This is unprecedented!
• Fansided (Score: 3.13) shows how on fire the experts were last week. This score normally gets you in the middle of the pack!

Extra Credit – Week 12

In this section, I will look to give some extra credit to experts that received an A+ grade for a player where they were the lone expert to recommend. Week 12 extra credit goes to the following:

A+ – RJ Turner (DailyRoto)
A+ – Simi Fehoko (Rotowire)

Head of the Class – Season

Here are the top experts in the Overall Standings after Week 12 of the season. The Single Pick used an “A+” to bump that score back up after Week 12.

#1) Daily Overlay Single Pick (Score: 5.79)

#2) DailyFantasyInsider (Score: 5.53)

#3) Sportsline (Score: 4.84)

The DailyOverlay Industry Consensus stays in 18th place in the overall standings out of 27 experts with a DO score of 3.21.
