NBA DFS – Hot Sheet – Dec 31
NBA DFS Picks – 12/31/2019
I’ll dish out a freebie for the four-game New Year’s Eve slate on Tuesday night since it is a small slate and there are a bunch of injuries to watch that will drastically affect the slates. Players to watch injury news for includes Luka Doncic, James Harden, Clint Capela, Dennis Schroder, and Danilo Gallinari.
The grid below is a snapshot of today’s slate that shows the overall rating for each position for each team. The numbers highlighted in red are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

Hot Sheet for December 31st
Droppin’ Dimes
James Harden (HOU) – Sounds like he might play. If he plays, then use him. If he sits then swap in Russell Westbrook.
Nikola Jokic (DEN) – Jokic put up 27 points and 12 rebounds in a previous matchup with the Rockets and is the top big man on the slate.
Kristaps Porzingis (DAL) – I’d probably only use Porzingis if Doncic misses the game.
Kevin Love (CLE) – Love has averaged 21.8 points and 10.5 rebounds over his last four games.
Chris Paul (OKC) – Paul is a solid option and becomes a great option if Schroder sits.
Damion Lee (GS) – Lee has been a beast for the Warriors recently averaging 18.0 points and 9.8 rebounds per night over his last five games.
Alec Burks (GS) – With D’Angelo Russell ruled out, Burks should see 30+ minutes which has resulted in 19.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game the last three outings that he hit that mark.
Michael Porter Jr. (DEN) – Porter is starting with Paul Millsap out and has put up 15.0 points and 5.0 boards per game over the last two outings.
Jalen Brunson (DAL) – Brunson is only an option if Doncic sits out. Brunson has averaged 13.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 9.5 assists in four games without Doncic this year.
Eric Paschall (GS) – Paschall is expected to return to the lineup tonight for a depleted Warriors frontcourt and should crush value for is low salary if he plays 20+ minutes.
