Top NFL DFS Experts – Week 17 (FINAL)
It was another great season of NFL DFS and it is always interesting to see which DFS analysts and optimizer provided the top plays. This year that title goes to DailyFantasyInsider with the “must-have” options. They were followed by a pair of picks that we pull from RotoGrinders. See the final Overall Standings.
Meanwhile, our DailyOverlay – Cash Consensus plays finished with a strong 6th place showing providing reliable picks to finish in the top half Cash game lineups all season long. A big THANKS to all of the DFS sites and analysts that have worked hard all season to provide advice!

Head of the Class – Season
Here are the top experts in the final Overall Standings for the season, including which site has provided the top DraftKings points per $1000 of salary.
#1) DailyFantasyInsider (Score: 4.09) while they only provide 2-3 plays per week they are often some of the top plays on the slate which led to them taking home the top spot this season
#2) RotoGrinders – Core Plays (Score: 3.83) usually provided between 5-10 picks each week and was consistently near the top of the leaderboard
#3) RotoGrinders – Consensus (Score: 3.79) we take a handful of the top plays at each position from the RG Consensus each week and they were in the Top 3 all season
#4) Rotoballer (Score: 3.68) provided the base for a starting lineup each week and performed well, especially down the stretch
#5) Rotowire – Optimizer (Score: 3.54) was the top-rated optimizer in our grading as they round out the Top 5 for the year
Top Value – DailyFantasyCafe (3.13 DK Pts/$1000) had the best points per dollar picks with their GPP articles this season
The DailyOverlay Industry Consensus Cash Picks finished just outside the top five in 6th place in the overall standings out of 39 experts and provided a strong top half of the field plays every week.
The DailyOverlay Industry Consensus GPP Picks are in 30th place in the overall standings out of 39 experts. While you couldn’t use just plays from the GPP list there was always a handful of GPP winning options available.
