There is plenty to look forward to this week though and I’m looking forward to writing this week’s Consensus article. Be sure to check out our full CFB Expert Grading and make sure you’re reading our weekly Consensus article which is typically posted around 9am CT on Saturday mornings.

On to the Week 10 grades, class is in session!
Consensus Recap – Week 10
The Consensus had a really solid Week 10. A 3.81 score positioned the Consensus in 9th out of the 22 experts that submitted selections.
Week 10 (Score: 3.81 / Rank 9th out of 22) – It was the best week of the season standings-wise for the Consensus. One third of the 27 plays scored “A” or better including seven “A+” grades.
Head of the Class – Week 10
Each week I will highlight a few of the top experts for the week. Here are the experts that deserve a “gold star” for Week 10 based on their cumulative grades for all players they touted this week. It was probably the lowest top-3 scores we’ve seen this season but was a solid week overall for the expert group.
#1) RG Consensus (Score: 5.33) scored “A” or better with five of their nine selections with four of those being “A+” grades.
#2) Daily Overlay Power Five (Score: 5.00) found the #2 slot for the 2nd week in a row. Stephen saw two of his five plays score an “A+” grade.
#3) FullTimeFantasy (Score: 4.90) scored an “A” or better with half of their 10 plays. Four of those were “A+” grades.
Head of the Class – Week 10 (By Position)
Sometimes there is just that one class that you excel in. In this section, I will highlight who the top experts were at each position for Week 10.
QB – Rotowire Optimizer (7.50) played Jamie Newman and Dillon Gabriel for an “A+” and “A” grades, respectively.
RB – Awesemo (10.00) scored “A+” grades from AJ Dillon and JJ Taylor to top the RB spot.
WR – Daily Overlay Power Five (10.00) scored an “A+” with Isaiah Hodgins with his lone WR play in Week 10.
Study Time – Week 10
If we are going to give a gold star to the top experts of the week, we also need to determine which experts might need to put in some extra study time to pull up those grades. Here are the Week 10 experts that didn’t make the grade this week.
- Daily Overlay Single Pick (Score: 1.00) hauled home a “D” grade with Wan’Dale Robinson on Saturday.
- DailyFantasyInsider (Score: 1.00) also played Wan’Dale Robinson. We are not used to seeing these two at the bottom of the list.
Extra Credit – Week 10
In this section, I will look to give some extra credit to experts that received an A+ grade for a player where they were the lone expert to recommend. Week 10 extra credit goes to the following:
A+ – There were no players selected by only one expert that scored an “A+” grade.
Head of the Class – Season
Here are the top experts in the Overall Standings after Week 9 of the season. If the Single Picks and DFI have another couple bad weeks, it could open things up for other experts to jump into the top-2.
#1) Daily Overlay Single Pick (Score: 5.92)
#2) DailyFantasyInsider (Score: 5.38)
#3) Sportsline (Score: 4.83)
The DailyOverlay Industry Consensus still sits in 19th place in the overall standings out of 27 experts with a DO score of 3.16.
