CFB DFS Expert Recap Week 11
What a Saturday in CFB we got last week! Minnesota proved to be more legit than most of us have given them credit for. That game led right into Joe Burrow clinching the Heisman Trophy with his performance in Tuscaloosa. There are still plenty of big games left this November, too! Be sure to check out our full CFB Expert Grading and make sure you’re reading our weekly Consensus article which is typically posted around 9am CT on Saturday mornings.

On to the Week 11 grades, class is in session!
Consensus Recap – Week 11
The Consensus had a really solid Week 11. A 2.90 score positioned the Consensus in 13th out of the 21 experts that submitted selections.
Week 11 (Score: 2.90 / Rank 13th out of 21) – Quite a step backwards after a solid Week 10 for the Consensus. That said, seven of the 29 plays still scored “A” or better including five “A+” grades. It was the 10 failing grades that really hurt!
Head of the Class – Week 11
Each week I will highlight a few of the top experts for the week. Here are the experts that deserve a “gold star” for Week 11 based on their cumulative grades for all players they touted this week.
#1) DailyRoto Optimizer (Score: 5.57) scored “A” or better with four of the seven optimized lineup plays. That included three “A+” scores.
#2) Rotowire Optimizer (Score: 4.63) continued the “Rise of the Machines” as Brad like to call it. Three of their eight plays scored an “A+” grade.
#3) RG Lineup HQ Top 3 (Score: 4.11) found the top-3 for the second week in a row. Three of the 9 plays scored “A” or better.
Head of the Class – Week 11 (By Position)
Sometimes there is just that one class that you excel in. In this section, I will highlight who the top experts were at each position for Week 11. The lineup optimizers ruled the day at all positions in Week 11.
QB – Rotowire Optimizer, HelloRookie (6.50) both scored “A+” and “B” grades to top the position.
RB – DailyRoto Optimizer (7.57) scored two”A+” grades and a “B” at the RB spot.
WR – DailyRoto Optimizer, Awesemo (5.00) tied atop the WR scoreboard.
Study Time – Week 11
If we are going to give a gold star to the top experts of the week, we also need to determine which experts might need to put in some extra study time to pull up those grades. Here are the Week 11 experts that didn’t make the grade this week.
- Sports Gambling Podcast (Score: 0.67) scored two “D” grades and one failing one to find the bottom-2.
- Daily Overlay Single Pick (Score: 0.00) scored a failing grade with the Rashee Rice play.
Extra Credit – Week 11
In this section, I will look to give some extra credit to experts that received an A+ grade for a player where they were the lone expert to recommend. Week 11 extra credit goes to the following:
A+ – Clyde Edwards-Helaire (DailyRoto)
Head of the Class – Season
Here are the top experts in the Overall Standings after Week 11 of the season. The Single Pick is clinging to the lead after a failing grade this past week.
