On to the Week 5 grades, class is in session!
Consensus Recap – Week 5
The Consensus stayed consistent with last week. A 2.96 score positioned the Consensus in 9th out of the 22 experts that submitted selections.
Week 5 (Score: 2.96 / Rank 9th out of 22) – The first top-10 weekly finish for the Consensus and almost hit that 3.0 threshold. Seven of the 26 plays scored an “A” or better grade including four “A+” scores.
Head of the Class – Week 5
Each week I will highlight a few of the top experts for the week. Here are the experts that deserve a “gold star” for Week 5 based on their cumulative grades for all players they touted this week. Overall, the scores were a bit lower than the previous week.
#1A) Daily Overlay Single Pick (Score: 10.00) scored an “A+” grade with Jalen Hurts.
#1B) DailyFantasyInsider (Score: 10.00) also played Hurts for their “A+” grade.
#3) DFS Army (Score: 5.00) made 11 plays and scored that well…that’s pretty impressive! Five of the 11 scored “A” or better including three “A+” scores.
Head of the Class – Week 5 (By Position)
Sometimes there is just that one class that you excel in. In this section, I will highlight who the top experts were at each position for Week 5.
QB – Five Tied (10.00) with perfect scores.
RB – Fantasy Alarm (3.83) scored “A” or better with half of their six plays.
WR – Awesemo (5.00) scored one “A+” grade and one failing grade.
Study Time – Week 5
If we are going to give a gold star to the top experts of the week, we also need to determine which experts might need to put in some extra study time to pull up those grades. Here are the Week 5 experts that didn’t make the grade this week.
- Rotoworld (Score: 1.56) struggled by getting six failing grades with their nine total plays.
- HelloRookie (Score: 1.13) picked up failing grades with half of their eight plays and a “B” was the highest grade they received for the week.
Extra Credit – Week 5
In this section, I will look to give some extra credit to experts that received an A+ grade for a player where they were the lone expert to recommend. Week 5 extra credit goes to the following:
A+ – Tony Jones, Jr. (RG Lineup Builder)
