CFB – Power 5 – Friday, Sept. 27
DFS College Fantasy Football Picks for Friday, Sept. 27
Because DraftKings has a bigger tournament on Friday night, we are providing you with some bonus coverage for college football DFS, specifically the Power 5.
We only have a four-game slate, so we won’t have five picks for this go around. For full versions of the Power 5, you can check out coverage for the two main slates in Week 5 on our site.
The games for Friday aren’t of much significance, but it’s football and it allows us to play fantasy, so that’s all that matters.
So on wildfire, on!
Donald Hammond III – QB – Air Force – $6,900
Analysis: Air Force is going to be a heavy target for me tonight. They draw the best matchup for fantasy by far and because they operate in the triple option, people likely won’t target the running backs in this game as much as they should. I imagine that Hammond, however, will commandeer a good chunk of ownership for Friday night. He got banged up in his last outing, but returned to the game and finished out. Hammond and the Falcons average 318 yards per game on the ground while SJSU yields 165.7 yards per game to opposing rushing attacks, and the Spartans haven’t faced a rushing attack like this all year. Hammond will be used in fantasy for his rushing and touchdown equity. Any points he receives in the passing game is a bonus with a cherry on top.
