NBA Sportsbook Consensus Grading Recap — Thursday, November 5, 2026
Tamberlyn Richardson (Cappers Picks) swept Thursday at 2-0 for +1.82u, cashing Suns -1.5 and Warriors -7.5, and now sits at 21-6 (+13.11u) with us — the best record and the highest weight in our NBA consensus. Filip Tomic (Pickswise) took Suns -1.5 at +106 for +1.06u, the iHeart Model went 4-2 (+1.05u) by siding with Phoenix and Golden State in both the spread and moneyline markets, and Guy Bruhn (Doc’s Sports) hit Warriors -7.5 for +0.94u to move to 22-13 (+7.05u) on the season. Dimers Model (2-1, +0.89u) and Boyd’s Bets’ Calvin King, Winners and Whiners’ Ralph Michaels and Ricky Tran (each 1-0, +0.91u) also finished in the black.
The consensus card went 2-3 for -1.70u. STRONG 0-2 (-2.00u), LEAN 2-1 (+0.30u). Both STRONG plays were Overs that fell short; the LEAN Warriors spread and moneyline cashed and the LEAN Magic moneyline lost. Every play is graded at the line we posted.
What actually happened
Suns 117, Magic 104. Phoenix snapped a four-game skid on the second night of a back-to-back. Devin Booker scored 30 (23 in the first half), Dillon Brooks added 24, and the Suns hit 17 of 34 threes. Orlando turned it over 25 times, and Phoenix scored 36 points off those turnovers — that, not fatigue, decided the game. The Suns led 63-51 at halftime and 96-73 after three, and the lead reached 30 with 9:20 left. Wendell Carter Jr. (27 points on 10-of-12, 13 rebounds) and Franz Wagner (15 points, 15 assists) led Orlando. The rested-team argument behind the Magic moneyline didn’t show up on the floor: Orlando was beaten on the merits.
The Over 222.5 came down to the fourth quarter. The teams had 169 points through three, so 54 more were needed. With the starters easing off, Orlando won garbage time 31-21, but the quarter produced only 52 and the game finished at 221, a point and a half short. The Under that Ricky Tran (Winners and Whiners) took at 223.5 cashed.
Warriors 120, Heat 100. Giannis Antetokounmpo played through his sprained right wrist and had 20 points and 14 rebounds, so the injury question on the card resolved in Miami’s favor and nothing about the premise was voided. It was 53-53 at the half. Golden State won the third quarter 38-23, including a 14-1 run that broke a 64-64 tie, and was in control from there. Stephen Curry went 2-for-10 in the first half and then scored 22 of his 29 points after it. Miami committed 22 turnovers, which Golden State turned into 28 points, and shot 13 of 44 from three. Davion Mitchell led the Heat with 22 and Bam Adebayo had 18. It was the Warriors’ sixth straight win.
The same Miami shooting slump sank the Over 235.5. The first half produced 106 points, and with the Heat cold from deep the game finished at 220, 15.5 short. Nothing unusual explains it: the Over was beaten on the merits.

Best call: Warriors -7.5 (LEAN, 11 of 17 experts). The rest edge showed up after halftime: a 38-23 third quarter built on a 14-1 run, with Curry scoring 22 of his 29 after the break, turned a 53-53 game into a 20-point cover.
Worst beat: Over 222.5 in Magic-Suns (STRONG). It needed 54 points in the fourth quarter. Orlando outscored Phoenix 31-21 in garbage time with a 30-point lead on the board, but the quarter produced only 52 and the total finished at 221, a point and a half short.
