NBA – Value Index – Friday, Oct. 25
Big news to key players highlights top value NBA plays on DraftKings
Well, some big news already is affecting the Association as we head into Friday’s 9-game slate.
Marvin Bageley is out 6-to-8 weeks with an injury and DeAndre Ayton is suspended 25 games for violating the NBA’s substance abuse policy for a banned diuretic.
The Bageley news certainly impacts the Kings tonight, so it will be interesting to see if him, and possibly the absence of Buddy Hield, will impact players like De’Aaron Fox or Harrison Barners in a positive way.
The Value Index for the NBA season will run on slates of 5 games or more and will feature a top value play at each of the five positions.
Good luck and let us know what you think!
SHOOTING GUARD
RJ Barrett – New York Knicks – $5,900
Analysis: It appears RJ Barrett is locked into a heavy dose of minutes as a rookie for the New York Knicks. A date with Brooklyn tonight should be an improved matchup for the 3rd overall pick who saw 37 minutes in his first-ever NBA game. He’s locked into a starting slot in this lineup that has a deep rotation of wings and guards. I personally feel Barrett will be the go-to guy on this team before too long. So that means we need to take advantage of his price as long as we can.
