Pricing on the DraftKings Showdown slate on Thursday night is challenging. There is a cliff after the top options with only one option I like below $6,600 (flex). So, we are going to plug a cheaper option in the Captain slot and go for a balanced lineup build for the Jaguars and Bengals matchup.

Captain
- Tyler Boyd – With Tee Higgins out, Boyd should garner some extra looks in the passing game and he has the best individual matchup of the Bengals WRs according to ProFootballFocus. His PPR ability gives him a solid floor with some upside if he finds the end zone.
Cash Core
- Joe Mixon – Locking in the Bengals workhorse back in Mixon should be your next move. He has had at least 19 touches in each of the first three games and should score with the Bengals as more than a touchdown favorite at home against a Jagaurs rush defense that has allowed 1.3 TDs (28th) per game to RBs.
- Joe Burrow – There could be a debate on which QB to use between Burrow and Lawrence because you are likely only using one in Cash games due to the competitive pricing and lack of value. I prefer Burrow’s consistent production over the volatility you will get with Lawrence (at least in Cash).
- Auden Tate – Tate is the dirt cheap free square you need on this slate to make it possible to fit in all the other pieces. He played on 57% of snaps last week with Higgins out. Round out your Cash game lineup by using your favorite pair of the Jaguars WRs.
GPP
DJ Chark is the X-factor in Thursday’s game. I love his individual matchup against the Bengals secondary. Others will try to jam Tate into the Captain and load up but Tate’s limited upside in the captain is a mistake in GPPs. Pivot from Burrow to Lawrence as your 1 QB and grab as many key non-QB pieces as possible including guys like Shenault, Mixon or Chase, Boyd or Jones.
