The Thursday night showdown matchup between the Packers and 49ers is an NFC Championship Game rematch but both teams are devastated by injuries and COVID. Aaron Jones’ status leading up to kickoff will be a pivotal piece of information that will flip lineup building upside-down as the pair of healthy Packers RBs beyond Jones are both minimum priced on DraftKings.

Captain
- Davante Adams – The Captain slot is a toss-up between Adams and Aaron Rodgers. I’ll give the edge to Adams who has been a monster the last two weeks with 20 receptions for 249 yards and five touchdowns. He will continue to get double-digit targets and will be very busy in the red zone if the Packers are down to their 4th and 5th string RBs.

- Aaron Rodgers – Rodgers offers a high floor and will have the ball in his hands a lot, especially if Jones is out as he works with inexperience in the backfield. The 49ers have been struggling some in the secondary recently allowing 233 passing yards and 2.0 TDs per game over the last five weeks.
- Nick Mullens – Mullens takes over as the single-caller for the 49ers with Jimmy Garoppolo out. His WR corps is severely depleted this week due to injury and COVID but he should still be able to muster together enough production to be one of the top scorers in the game.
- JaMycal Hasty – Hasty has had at least nine carries in each of the last three weeks, including 12 last week. He should once again get the bulk of the carries for the 49ers in a great matchup against a Packers run defense that has allowed 110 rushing yards (25th) and 1.8 TDs (32nd) to RBs over the last five weeks.

I have a feeling this game could be a breakout performance for JaMycal Hasty, so I’ll roll the dice with him in the Captain spot. I also really like the Mullens to Ross Dwelley connection, then grabbing Rodgers with a pair of his pass-catchers while completely fading the Packers running game regardless of if Jones plays or not.
