NFL – Week 9 Showdown (Thursday) – SF v ARI
NFL DFS Showdown – Week 9 (Thursday) – SF v ARI
Yet another double-digit favorite in a primetime game on Thursday night with the 49ers favored over the Cardinals. Finalizing your lineup construction will need to hold off until the inactives are announced as there are a couple question marks in the 49ers backfield leading up to kickoff. So, be sure to see who is in and who is out for the 49ers running backs, then make sure you get at least one and maybe two of them into your lineups.

San Francisco 49ers @ Arizona Cardinals
Team | QB | RB | Right | Slot | Left | TE | D | K | Vegas |
San Francisco 49ers | 58 | 67 | 41 | 46 | 51 | 60 | 55 | 76 | -10 |
Arizona Cardinals | 32 | 50 | 19 | 33 | 25 | 41 | 35 | 45 | 43 |
King
- Tevin Coleman – Coleman figures to be the most popular option in the King slot after coming off a huge four-touchdown game and with the injuries in the 49ers backfield. The matchup is also very favorable as the Cardinals run defense ranks 26th DVOA and has allowed 4.66 YPC (25th) over the last five weeks.
Cash Core
- George Kittle – We all know that the Cardinals have struggled to stop TEs this season allowing 6.8 receptions (31st) for 88 yards (31st), and 1.0 TD (32nd) per game. Now, they get to face one of the most explosive TEs in the league with Kittle who is long overdue for some positive TD regression.
- 49ers D/ST – The 49ers defense has reached double-digit DK points in four straight games. They will face a Cardinals team that has been sacked 3.4 times per game (26th) which could go up this week as they might need to abandon the running game early with limited healthy bodies and a negative scoreboard.
- Kyler Murray – My one Cardinals player will come down to Murray or Christian Kirk. I’m not going to trust the Cardinals mess at RB in a very tough matchup and Murray and Kirk have the highest floors in the passing game to use in Cash.
GPP
Everything points to the 49ers pounding this game out on the ground, so let’s pivot to the 49ers passing game in GPPs. I’ll roster George Kittle in the King slot and then pair him up with his QB Jimmy Garoppolo and another inexpensive 49ers pass-catcher like Dante Pettis or Marquise Goodwin. Then I’ll bring it back on the Cardinals side with a Murray/Kirk stack and then fill in the last spot with the player of your choice.
