Fifteen games on tap for tonight. I’m going to put to use a strategy that I’ve been contemplating using for awhile now. I’m using the same lineup for both formats. My Cash lineups have performed significantly better that my GPP ones and the fact that the Consensus didn’t offer a ton of stack options makes this a good night to try it.
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

Cash and GPP Lineup
Lineup Narrative – I’m rolling out the same lineup for both. The Cash game has been much kinder than the GPP of late. I know that no stacking means that I likely won’t take the top spot…but stranger things have happened. I mix in some Coors Field as well as a middle of the Tigers order combo of VMart and Miggy. My only off the board play is Drury.

Cash Narrative – I guess I became pretty bullish on Velasquez tonight as he appears 3 out of 4 times (cue up the Marlins stack everyone!!!). Anyway, I love the Rangers/Angels and the Astros a lot tonight along with the Blue Jays, a lot of which did not make our Consensus. Beltre, V-Mart and Desmond are all BvP plays for me in this lineup while Posey and Trout make my GPP lineup below. Beltre is so damn cheap tonight against Lincecum’s 50% hard contact rate against RH bats.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – Washington fireballer Reynaldo Lopez lit up the minors and is a dirt cheap $4000 against the Dodgers who are without Corey Seager. Donaldson is a great play tonight, IMO and did not make our Consensus. Correa also dirt cheap and is hitting well. I don’t ever like rostering Votto because it never works out well for me. Three off-the-board plays tonight in my GPP. Also, Dickerson is in all of my lineups. Hitting cleanup against his former team tonight, probably will see 50% ownership I bet!

Cash Narrative – This is a very similar cash game lineup to DK, but I have Mazara in as an off-the-board play to save money.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – I have my eggs in the basket of Altuve, Trout, Dickerson, Velasquez, C-Lo, Sano and Desmond, so it could be a boom or bust night for this guy. Good luck all!
