A big five-dayer last week and the experts hit a Grand Salami (excuse the baseball reference). Our leader stayed flat but everyone behind them took a big step forward and things are getting tight atop the season-long leaderboard. The Consensus had a strong week, as well. They continue to hold down the fort in 6th place, just outside our weekly top-5 write up. As for the top-5 and DO contributors, our man Brad and his Hot Sheet also had a big week and he remains in 5th place. Enjoy!
In this article, I will give a brief recap of each day we gathered and graded the experts, including how the Industry Consensus picks performed, highlighting which experts were at the top for the day and which players were only called out by one expert, but produced an “A+” grade. I also list the top DraftKings Points per $1000 experts for each day. Finally, I will also review the overall standings and highlight the top experts so far this season. As a reminder, we are currently gathering selections and publishing the NBA Industry Consensus articles on all weekdays that feature at least four games during the NBA season, so be sure to check back about an hour or so before the first game tips off to get a look at the industry expert’s consensus picks for the day.

Overall Leaderboard
Things are beginning to get tight! FTA has had a comfortable lead for the last month or so; however, after a monster week from the experts, their lead is dwindling. You can view the full NBA Overall Standings here.
#1) FantasyTeamAdvice (Score: 5.09) held steady with the same score as last week. The gap between them and the #2 spots closed considerably though.
#2) RotoGrinders Consensus (Score: 4.99) had a nice week to hop back up a spot into 2nd place. They jumped up .15 in score for the week.
#3A) FantasyLabs (Score: 4.95) also had a big jump of .14 last week. That bump hopped them up into a 3rd place tie on the season.
#3B) RotoGrinders 6-Pack (Score: 4.95) actually had a nice week but dropped from 2nd into a 3rd place tie. In a week where the experts crushed it, a .09 jump in score will drop you in the standings.
#5) Daily Overlay – Hot Sheet (Score: 4.91) remains in 5th place but had a strong week with a .11 jump in score.
The Daily Overlay Industry Consensus picks (Score: 4.75) stayed in 6th place but they are in big jeopardy of falling a spot next week.
Ownership Percentage Tracking
A part of daily fantasy sports strategy is understanding ownership percentages and being able to predict ownership percentages prior to entering contests especially for GPP tournaments where you might want to be contrarian by selecting lower owned players or fading highly owned players depending on the payout structure and size of the contest.
Below are the tables showing the actual data collected so far this season. Results are using a DraftKings Double-Up for Cash and single entry tournament for GPP. The Count column shows the number of times a player was selected by the experts for a given day. The salary columns show the average ownership percentages for all players that were recommended by the given number of experts for the salary range provided.
