The All-Star game has come and gone so we head down the stretch of the NBA season. We had a change atop the season-long standings so be sure to read up below and see who is now in 1st. A short, three-day week is recapped below. Enjoy!
In this article, I will give a brief recap of each day we gathered and graded the experts, including how the Industry Consensus picks performed, highlighting which experts were at the top for the day and which players were only called out by one expert, but produced an “A+” grade. I also list the top DraftKings Points per $1000 experts for each day. Finally, I will also review the overall standings and highlight the top experts so far this season. As a reminder, we are currently gathering selections and publishing the NBA Industry Consensus articles on all weekdays that feature at least four games during the NBA season, so be sure to check back about an hour or so before the first game tips off to get a look at the industry expert’s consensus picks for the day.

#1) FantasyLabs (Score: 7.87) was fantastic on Valentine’s Day. Of their 15 plays, fourteen scored “B” or better including ten “A+” grades! They were the lone expert site to recommend Alex Len and his “A+” grade.
#2) FantasyTeamAdvice (Score: 7.20) picked up three “A+” scores and two “B” grades with their five plays.

Overall Leaderboard

#1) FantasyLabs (Score: 5.02) has now taken over the lead in our season-long standings. With an outstanding week and a gain of .05 in score, they now stand atop the hill
#2) FantasyTeamAdvice (Score: 4.98) will now be the hunter instead of the hunted. They dropped .02 in score and fall back into 2nd place.
#3) Rotoballer (Score: 4.95) stayed flat in score and standing last week. They remain within striking distance of the top spot heading down the stretch.
#4) RG Consensus (Score: 4.81) struggled a bit in the short week, dropping .03 in score. They’ll have to make a big push to climb in the standings.
#5) Daily Overlay – Hot Sheet (Score: 4.76) also had a bit of a rough week as Brad saw his score dip .05. Plenty of time left to make a move but it needs to start fast.
The Daily Overlay Industry Consensus picks (Score: 4.64) dropped another .02 in score this week. The Consensus holds steady in 7th place.
Ownership Percentage Tracking
A part of daily fantasy sports strategy is understanding ownership percentages and being able to predict ownership percentages prior to entering contests especially for GPP tournaments where you might want to be contrarian by selecting lower owned players or fading highly owned players depending on the payout structure and size of the contest.
Below are the tables showing the actual data collected so far this season. Results are using a DraftKings Double-Up for Cash and single entry tournament for GPP. The Count column shows the number of times a player was selected by the experts for a given day. The salary columns show the average ownership percentages for all players that were recommended by the given number of experts for the salary range provided.
