If you want to see an assault on the leaderboard, take a look at the week from Rotowire. An absolute domination of all things in Week 6 led to Rotowire hopping all the way up to #2 in our leaderboard. Overall, it was a really, really good week for the experts. Consensus Recap – Week 6
The Industry Consensus had a fantastic Week 6 that led to a 10th place finish overall. This included sixteen “A+” grades! Below is a position by position breakdown of how the Consensus fared.
QB (Score: 4.38 / Rank 12th out of 21) – Three of the eight plays finished with an “A” or better including “A+” scores from Kirk Cousins and Josh McCown.
RB (Score: 3.46 / Rank 14th out of 21) – A much better score this week but a lower finish thanks to the experts hitting on the RB spot. Three “A+” grades from Mark Ingram, Jerick McKinnon and Le’Veon Bell.
WR (Score: 3.17 / Rank 8th out of 21) – A productive week at the WR position as six of the 18 plays scored an “A” or better. Four “A+” grades came from Antonio Brown, Golden Tate, Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown.
TE (Score: 5.44 / Rank 7th out of 21) – The Consensus had a great TE week with five of the nine plays scoring “A” or better including “A+” grades from Zach Miller, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Cameron Brate and Gronk.
D/ST (Score: 4.22 / Rank 9th out of 19) – The great week continued with “A+” grades from the Ravens, Texans and Saints.
Head of the Class – Week 6
Each week I will highlight a few of the top experts for the week. Here are the experts that deserve a “gold star” for Week 6 based on their cumulative grades for all players they touted this week.
#1) Rotowire (Score: 8.50) slayed the competition with six of their eight selections scoring an “A+” grade! Ingram, McKinnon, Antonio Brown, John Brown, Z. Miller and the Ravens all hauled home perfect scores.
#2) ProFootballFocus (Score: 5.27) found the #2 slot even with a plethora of plays. Eleven of their 26 selections scored an “A+” grade.
#3) FantasyLabs (Score: 4.77) also had an exceptional week to claim the final top-3 spot. Half of their 22 plays scored an “A” or better including eight “A+” grades.
Top Value – Rotowire (4.33 DK Pts/$1000) also took the “Top Value” title this week.
Head of the Class – Week 6 (By Position)
Sometimes there is just that one class that you excel in. In this section, I will highlight who the top experts were at each position for Week 6.
QB – GoingFor2 (10.00) played Cousins to claim the top QB spot once again this week.
RB – Rotowire, Daily Overlay – Value Index (10.00) both played Mark Ingram and Rotowire added in Jerick McKinnon for their perfect scores.
WR – Rotowire (8.33) looks like they’ll be among the leaders at all positions with the week they had. “A+” grades from the two Browns and an “A” from Jarvis Landry helped claim the top spot.
TE – DailyFantasySportsRankings, DK Playbook, Rotowire, ProFootballFocus (10.00) all scored “A+” grades with their TE picks.
DST – RotoGrinders Lineup Builder, Rotowire, Sportsline (10.00) hauled in “A+” scores with their lone D/ST plays.
Study Time – Week 6
If we are going to give a gold star to the top experts of the week, we also need to determine which experts might need to put in some extra study time to pull up those grades. Here are the Week 6 experts that didn’t make the grade this week.
- FantasyPros (Score: 2.56) is the first expert this year with a +2.0 score to find the bottom-2. FP had eleven failing grades from their 25 plays.
- Rotoballer (Score: 1.63) struggled again in Week 6 as half of their eight plays finished with a failing grade.
Extra Credit – Week 6
In this section, I will look to give some extra credit to experts that received an A+ grade for a player where they were the lone expert to recommend. Week 6 extra credit goes to the following:

Head of the Class – Season
Here are the top experts in the Overall Standings after Week 6 of the season, including which site has provided the top DraftKings points per $1000 of salary. Rotowire’s week propelled them into the top-2 for the season.
#1) GoingFor2 (Score: 3.83) bumps up by .09 for the week to hang on to the top spot.
#2) Rotowire (Score: 3.78) used their monster week to crawl from the middle of the pack all the way up to the #2 spot.
#3) Daily Overlay – Value Index (Score: 3.76) drops a spot despite a really nice week.
#4) FantasyTeamAdvice (Score: 3.65) also slides back one spot thanks to Rotowire’s week.
#5) Sportsline (Score: 3.63) had another solid week to maintain their spot in the top-5.
Top Value – DK Playbook (3.01 DK Pts/$1000)
The DailyOverlay Industry Consensus jumps up to 16th place in the overall standings out of 21 experts. That’s a two spot jump from last week.
