Fantasy Basketball Picks for DraftKings’ 9-Game DFS Slate

We’ve had two big-time big men suspended for violation of the NBA’s substance abuse policy.

The latest is John Collins, who is out for the next 25 games. The first was DeAndre Ayton.

The Hawks are going to have some interesting options fill in for Collin moving forward, also boosting Trae Young’s usage and need to score moving forward, assuming he stays healthy.

Jabari Parker stands to get the largest boost from John Collins’ absence, and we saw that bump on Tuesday.

The Hawks are on this slate tonight, too, so Collins’ absence is something we should be considering tonight.

Markelle Fultz – PG – Orlando Magic – $4,100

Analysis: “Fultz will be the starting PG for the forseeable future.” So until he is not the starter and his price doesn’t get out of hand, I will be playing Mr. Fultz for the foreseeable future in DFS. Tonight the Magic get the Dallas Mavericks, who are one of the slower-paced teams in the NBA. But this price for Fultz, who commands a 20% usage rate for the Magic. Fultz should see the minutes and the usage to pay off this price tag.
