NFL – Week 10 Showdown (Monday) – SEA v SF
NFL DFS Showdown – Week 10 (Monday) – SEA v SF
Monday night’s showdown between the Seahawks and undefeated 49ers should be a fun one. I have a feeling that my take on the matchup will be somewhat contrarian, even in Cash games, but I’m fine with being a little different in one-game DFS Showdown games.

King
- Chris Carson – I’m going a little bit against the grain with choosing Carson as my “King” in this matchup with the Seahawks on the road as an underdog. Both teams will want to run the ball and I’m am most secure with the number of touches that Carson will get amongst all the RBs from both teams. Carson has at least 15 carries in every game this season and the 49ers run defense has been a little bit vulnerable recently allowing 5.44 YPC (30th) to RBs over the last five weeks.
Cash Core
- Russell Wilson – Let’s lock up the rest of the Seahawks scores by pairing Carson with Wilson. I’m never 100% confident in who Wilson will be passing the ball to, especially in the red zone, and that could be even more variable with Josh Gordon joining the mix. The 49ers pass defense does rank 1st DVOA against the pass this season, but I trust Wilson against anyone.
- Every 49ers RB you can find – I don’t think I have ever recommended getting three RBs from the same team in a game, but that is the path I’m following in this game with Tevin Coleman, Matt Breida, and Kyle Juszczyk. Coleman will get the goal-line work, Breida is capable of breaking a long one, and Juszczyk will return at a dirt-cheap salary and should get involved in the passing game with George Kittle out.
GPP
If you haven’t figured it out yet, I think the Seahawks play well in this game and probably win it. I’m tempted to go with Carson at King in my GPP lineup as well but will instead pivot to Wilson. Pair up Wilson with a couple of his pass-catchers not named Lockett and still include Carson. On the 49ers side, I like Emmanuel Sanders assuming the 49ers fall behind and, of course, a cheap Juszczyk.
