Indianapolis Colts @ Houston Texans
Team | QB | RB | Right | Slot | Left | TE | D | K | Vegas |
Indianapolis Colts | 64 | 51 | 54 | 56 | 56 | 66 | 38 | 46 | 45.5 |
Houston Texans | 51 | 49 | 60 | 47 | 56 | 55 | 47 | 61 | -3.5 |
King
- Jacoby Brissett – I have not fully decided which QB will occupy the King slot in this matchup but it will be one of them. Right now, I am leaning toward Brissett who is cheaper and has a better matchup against the Texans pass defense which ranks 25th DVOA and have allowed 289 passing yards (26th) and 2.8 TD passes (30th) per game over the last five weeks.
Cash Core
- Deshaun Watson – Whichever QB you don’t use in the King slot, you will certainly want to plug them in as a flex option. The Texans offense runs through Watson who had at least 19 DK points over five straight starts before last week’s let down against the Ravens. Look for a bounce-back effort at home this week.
- Colts RB – Marlon Mack is out, but it sounds like Jordan Wilkins will play which gives the Colts a trio of backs to use including Wilkins, Jonathan Williams, and Nyheim Hines. If Wilkins plays, then he should get the most touches of the group.
- Ka’imi Fairbairn – Fairbairn has reached double-digit DK points in four of his last six games and the kicking game could play a big factor in the outcome of Thursday’s divisional matchup. I’d much rather have Fairbairn over Adam Vinatieri.
GPP
My GPP strategy in this matchup will be to monitor the inactives very closely and roster any player that is questionable to play but does end up suiting up such as guys like T.Y. Hilton, Eric Ebron, and Will Fuller. I’ll likely still roster both QBs but keep them out of the King slot in favor of a WR. Also, consider using the pass-catching back, Hines and Duke Johnson.
Best Bet
Parlay: Texans -3.5 and Under 45.5
