King
- Nick Chubb – Chubb only got 10 carries in the opener compared to 13 for Kareem Hunt, but that was in a blowout loss to the Ravens. Chubb should rack up the carries and red zone work on Thursday with the Browns as a near touchdown favorite against a Bengals run defense that allowed 148 rushing yards and a score to RBs last week.
Cash Core
- Joe Mixon – Mixon is the workhorse back for the Bengals and saw 20 touches in Week 1. He should get a similar high volume of touches for the Bengals on Thursday against a Browns run defense that gave up a pair of rushing scores in Week 1.
- Joe Burrow – I want a piece of all the touchdowns on Thursday night which means in addition to using both primary RBs, I also want both QBs in this matchup. Burrow now has an actual NFL game under his belt where he showed off his athletic ability on a touchdown scamper. The Browns pass defense was torched by the Ravens for 284 passing yards and 3 TDs.
- Baker Mayfield – I know, you want nothing to do with Mayfield right now as he continues to fail to meet expectations for the last season-plus. But the Bengals secondary is banged up and Mayfield has had a lot of success against the Bengals in his previous four meetings including throwing for 3 or more TDs in three of those matchups.
GPP
Another guy that the general public is down on right now is Odell Beckham Jr, which will likely suppress his ownership, especially in the Captain spot, which why now is the right time to plug him in there. Pair him with Mayfield, Kareem Hunt, and another Browns pass-catcher to go all-in on the passing game. Bring it back with your favorite Bengals receiver or Mixon and you should still have a decent amount of salary left to fit in a kicker or defense or tertiary receiving option.
