My Pokes were oh so close to knocking off those land thieves down in Norman. A couple missed kicks led to a failed two-point conversion attempt that would have given the boys in orange the lead with a minute left. I’m convinced Kyler Murray would have led a game-winning drive even if we converted though. A really nice week from the expert group (outside of my attempt at the DO Single Pick) and we are headed down the stretch with a couple experts within striking distance of the top spot in the overall standings. Here’s your Week 11 recap!

On to the Week 11 grades, class is in session!
Consensus Recap – Week 11
The Consensus bumped it score significantly in Week 11 but still finished in the bottom-half of experts. A 4.09 score positioned the Consensus in 9th out of the 15 experts that submitted selections.
Overall (Score: 4.09 / Rank 9th out of 15) – Eight of the 22 total plays finished with an “A” or better grade. That included “A+” grades from Gardner Minshew II, Taylor Cornelius, Charlie Brewer, Tylan Wallace and Jalen Reagor. A lot of Big XII flavor in those “A+” grades.
Head of the Class – Week 11
Each week I will highlight a few of the top experts for the week. Here are the experts that deserve a “gold star” for Week 11 based on their cumulative grades for all players they touted this week. Overall, the scores were up over last week’s.
#1) Rotoballer (Score: 6.17) scored “A” or better with four of their six plays. Their three “A+” grades came from Minshew, Cornelius and Wallace.
#2) CFBDynasty.com (Score: 5.67) found the top-2 as half of their six plays finished “A” or better. Minshew and Brewer hauled in “A+” grades.
#3) DFS Karma (Score: 5.60) scored “A+” grades with Wallace and Cody White in their five plays for the day.
Head of the Class – Week 11 (By Position)
Sometimes there is just that one class that you excel in. In this section, I will highlight who the top experts were at each position for Week 11.
QB – Rotoballer (10.00) crushed the QB spot with “A+” grades from Cornelius and Minshew.
RB – SportingNews (5.00) scored an “A” from Trayveon Williams to take the top spot at the RB position.
WR – DFS Karma (10.00) utilized Tylan Wallace and Cody White to take down a perfect score with their WR plays.
Study Time – Week 11
If we are going to give a gold star to the top experts of the week, we also need to determine which experts might need to put in some extra study time to pull up those grades. Here are the Week 11 experts that didn’t make the grade this week.
- AthlonSports (Score: 1.77) scored a failing grade with six of their 13 plays last week.
- DailyOverlay Single Pick (Score: 0.00) struck out with CeeDee Lamb which was the pick that I made. I guess I learned my lesson and I’ll be letting Greg pick for the remainder of the season. Ha!!
Extra Credit – Week 11
In this section, I will look to give some extra credit to experts that received an A+ grade for a player where they were the lone expert to recommend. Week 11 extra credit goes to the following:
A+ – Chuba Hubbard (Fantasy Alarm) – side note as this was my 2nd choice for my DO Single Pick last week.
Head of the Class – Season
Here are the top experts in the Overall Standings after Week 11 of the season. We had a flip-flop at the top but all five experts remain the same as last week.
#1) RG CFB Marketplace Projections (Score: 4.01) still maintains an overall grade above the 4.0 threshold. That’s something to write home about.
#2) RG Consensus (Score: 3.84) hopped up one spot with a solid increase of .07 in score.
#3) Sporting News (Score: 3.68) also moved up one spot with a .07 increase in score.
#4) DailyOverlay Single Pick (Score: 3.58) took a two spot step back in Week 11.
#5) DFS Karma (Score: 3.40) stood pat in 5th place for the season.
The DailyOverlay Industry Consensus stood pat in 13th place in the overall standings out of 26 experts with a DO score of 3.05. The Consensus had a nice week and jumped back above the 3.0 mark.
