On to the Week 10 grades, class is in session!

Consensus Recap – Week 10

The Consensus saw its score dip quite a bit in Week 10 but still managed to finish in the middle of the pack. A 2.50 score positioned the Consensus in 8th out of the 18 experts that submitted selections.

Overall (Score: 2.50 / Rank 8th out of 18) – Six of the 28 plays scored an “A” or better for the week including three “A+” grades. The “A+” scores came from Sam Ehlinger, JK Dobbins and Tylan Wallace.

Head of the Class – Week 10

Each week I will highlight a few of the top experts for the week. Here are the experts that deserve a “gold star” for Week 10 based on their cumulative grades for all players they touted this week. Overall, the scores were down quite a bit over last week’s.

#1) RG CFB Marketplace Projections (Score: 4.00) scored “A” or better with five of their 15 plays last week. That included three “A+” scores from Ehlinger, Dobbins and Wallace.

#2) DailyRoto (Score: 3.84) found the top-3 by scoring “A” or better with seven of their 19 selections which included five “A+” scores. Those “A+” scores came from Jake Bentley, Dobbins, D’Andre Swift, N’Keal Harry and Lil’Jordan Humphrey. They were the lone expert site to play Lil’Jordan Humphrey.

#3) Daily Overlay Power Five (Score: 3.39) was the only other expert to score above a 3.0 for the week. Stephen scored “A+” grades from Ehlinger, Wallace and Scottie Phillips.

Head of the Class – Week 10 (By Position)

Sometimes there is just that one class that you excel in. In this section, I will highlight who the top experts were at each position for Week 10.

QB – Athlon Sports (6.00) picked up an “A+” from Ehlinger and a “C” grade from Eric Dungey to claim the top spot.

RB – DFS Karma (5.00) scored an “A+” from Ty’Son Williams and a failing grade with their other pick.

WR – DailyRoto (4.67) scored an “A” or better with half of their six picks. They scored an “A+” from Harry and Humphrey. They were the lone expert site to play Lil’Jordan Humphrey.

Study Time – Week 10

If we are going to give a gold star to the top experts of the week, we also need to determine which experts might need to put in some extra study time to pull up those grades. Here are the Week 9 experts that didn’t make the grade this week.

  • ProFootballFocus (Score: 1.00) scored a failing grade with seven of their 15 plays to find the bottom-2.
  • Rotoballer (Score: 0.83) had a horrible week picking up failing grades with half of their six plays.

Extra Credit – Week 10

In this section, I will look to give some extra credit to experts that received an A+ grade for a player where they were the lone expert to recommend. Week 10 extra credit goes to the following:

A+ – Lil’Jordan Humphrey (RG Consensus)
A+ – Tobias Oliver (FantasyCPR)
