Don’t tell anyone but I am on a roll with my DraftKings Cash game lineups reeling off seven straight cashes and 12 of my last 15. Now, I just need to carry over that success to my GPP lineups. Stephen is back tonight with some FantasyDraft lineups to consider as Matt tries to get back on track with his FanDuel lineups.
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.
As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Was just about to post this and saw LeMaheiu was not in the lineup so pulled a switch for Odor hitting cleanup. Salazar is a bit iffy considering the arm troubles but the A’s couldn’t touch Carrasco last night. I love Gutierrez against a lefty, as always. I’m also feeling good about the Cardinals righties tonight which is why you’ll see Pham as an off the board play here.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – I broke the rules a bit here and had to do so even more once I had to replace LeMaheiu. As I said, I love the Cards righties so you’ll see a bottom of the order mini-stack with Gyorko and Grichuk and both are off the board plays. Musgrove was a salary-saving, off the board move but the Buccos have been struggling lately. A 3-4-5 stack of Martin, Encarnacion and Tulo. Need to find the money to get back on track…it’s been awhile.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – There were not enough value hitters on the Consensus list tonight to allow me to pay up for an Ace like Arrieta tonight, so I am going with the two value pitchers that I trust enough for Cash game lineups with Gray and Rodon. With the value at pitcher, I was able to load up with my bats who are all from the Consensus list including two of my favorites tonight, Freeman and Arenado.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – The Rangers jumped out to me as a strong lower owned stack tonight with players at reasonable salaries so I grabbed the top five in the order with only Lucroy on the Consensus list. I then grabbed a two-man Blue Jays stack from the Consensus with Encarnacion and Tulowitzki and rounded out my hitters with a cheap OF with home run upside (Teoscar Hernandez). With all of the value on the hitting side, I was able to pay up for Arrieta and get a high risk, high reward option with Salazar.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – To make the lineups I wanted with limited time, I bucked the rules a bit to fit in Arrieta here, going off-the-board 3 times. I believe everyone on the Consensus with the exception of Gutierrez is $8000 or above. Arenado and Trout are BvP plays for me today and make both lineups. Mazara, Calhoun and some guy named Xavier Scrubbs are in my cash lineups. Thanks to Brad for convincing me to like Rodon today (whom I never really like). Rodon makes both lineups as well.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – Also off-the-board here 3 times as well with Peraza, Schebler and Desmond (leading off, can’t miss out on that). The Rangers/Reds game is sneaky tonight, IMO. Gray is my other pitcher tonight and has a ton of K upside. Good luck!
