It should be a fun night of DFS baseball with 14 games on the slate and a lot of different ways to go about building your lineups. Just Matt (FanDuel) and I (DraftKings) with lineups tonight with Stephen out of town for the Memorial Day weekend. Hopefully, tonight’s lineups will get the long weekend started out right!
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.
As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Archer has been ‘straight cash homie’ at The Trop this season. Let’s hope that continues and that this lineup is cash too. Several late starts in this lineup but hopefully I won’t need to make any last minute switches. No off the board plays for the Cash game lineup.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – I will completely (and hopefully not foolishly) fade the game at Coors tonight. I’m going big on John Lamb and Kyle Davies. And by big, I mean that I’m hoping for an implosion by both. Big stacks of Reds (Votto, Phillips, Bruce, Duvall) and Brewers (Lucroy, Villar, Braun). I’ll play Donaldson and hope for a bomb. Off the board plays are Phillips and Duvall to complete the stack.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – Went with one Ace, Hernandez, and my favorite value pitcher of the night, Conley, who should both have high floors tonight with some upside. I was able to get many of the most touted hitters including a couple of Rockies’ lefties in Coors Field against Matt Cain.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – I really like how my GPP lineup came together tonight. Went with a “chalky” Rockies stack including a surprising off the board play with Story. Then I was able to pair up two right-handed Diamondbacks’ sluggers at home against a lefty and rounded out my hitters with a cheap Gutierrez against a lefty and a punt play at 2B with Garcia batting leadoff tonight. At pitcher, I went with two inexpensive pitchers with big upside. Tonight could be the night my GPP lineup finally does some damage.
