Today we have a full 15-game slate, a game in Coors, the Yankees in a big-time spot and lots of studs and crummy pitchers.

We also have the trade deadline looming, so you might need to spend some extra time today monitoring news before lock.

Good luck today! We only have the xFIP table, also. The wOBA table will return tomorrow!

PITCHERS

Griffin Canning – vs. Detroit Tigers – $6,700

Analysis: So I will personally have a dilemma on FanDuel about which pitcher to use in my lineup. Griffin Canning stands out at a fantastic price and he gets the Tigers, a AAAA Minor League team that plays in the majors. Jamie Barria made value last night and didn’t get the win. Canning is much better than Barria and strikes out lefties at a 9.16 K/9 and righties at a 10.25 K/9.

Adrian Houser – at Oakland Athletics – $5,900

Analysis: The other pitcher on my list is Houser, who struggles mightily with lefties, but has been solid against righties. It’s tough because he’s young and making a start on the road. Houser strikes out lefties at a 9.28 K/9 and righties at an 8.91 K/9. Houser has allowed a .395 wOBA and 47% hard contact to lefties, but he also owns a .397 BABIP against them. But against righties, Houser has been studly with a 2.84 xFIP and .275 wOBA. The A’s will throw a lot of righties in their lineup, so if he can avoid the lefty landmines, Houser should perform well against an A’s team that is 18th in team wOBA vs. righties and a 21% strikeout rate.

HITTERS

Bo Bichette – SS – Toronto Blue Jays – $2,200

Analysis: The newly called up prospect is on FanDuel and he’s diirrrrt cheap. Lock city, even if he is a two-day-old prospect. But he has monstrous upside and is nearly priced at min. salary. The Blue Jays are in a great spot, too against lefty Mike Montgomery, who owns a .344 wOBA against righties with a 5.17 xFIP and 1.78 HR/9.
