Welcome in to the First Edition of the MLB Expert Recap. We skimmed over week one as we awaited more data points in order to formulate our scoreboard for the year. As always, we’ll be providing an MLB Consensus a minimum of once per day. For those large afternoon slates, we’ll try our best to put out a Consensus.

Also, review how all the MLB DFS analysts fared this past week with a day-by-day breakdown of each scored and ranking for the day and the week. I will also post the Ownership Percentages by position by count which are used to help project player ownership in our Weighted Consensus article every day.

For the 2019 season, we are grading 24 experts that provide pitcher selections and 24 that provide hitter selections daily. We’d love to add more so let us know in the comments the experts that you’re trusting daily.
Leaderboard
The top-3 for both pitchers and hitters are below. Be sure to check out the full MLB Expert Standings to see how your favorite experts check out.
Pitchers
#1) FantasyTeamAdvice (Score: 5.40) has charged out of the gates and into the lead. They are providing “A+” pitcher selections on 40% of their plays so far.
#2) Sportsline (Score: 5.29) sits just off the lead after a couple weeks. We utilize Sportsline’s optimized DK lineup daily so they provide two pitcher plays per day barring any weather related cancellations.
#3) RotoGrinders – 6 Pack (Score: 5.14) is the only other expert sitting above the 5.0 threshold. Beer has scored an “A+” grade on three of his seven pitcher selections so far in 2019.
Hitters
#1) RotoGrinders – 6 Pack (Score: 3.68) started strong as sits inside the top-3 for pitchers and hitters after two weeks.
#2) FantasyTeamAdvice (Score: 3.46) picked up right where they left off in 2018. FTA is also inside the top-3 for pitchers and hitters.
#3) DailyFantasySportsRankings (Score: 3.25) finds themselves right where they ended last season, the #3 slot on the hitter grading chart. TONS of baseball left for DFSR to bump their standing.
