Overall it was an average week from the experts, but we continue to see the same experts at or near the top of the standing every day. This week one expert, RotoGrinders NBA Grind Down, came in first place on both Wednesday and Friday as they have now closed the gap on first place in the overall standings.
In this article, I will give a brief recap of each day we gathered and graded the experts, including how the Industry Consensus picks did, highlighting which experts were at the top for the day and which players were only called out by one or two experts, but produced an “A+” grade. I will also review the overall standings, highlighting the top experts so far this season. You can view the full NBA Overall Standings here.

Tuesday (Dec 1)
Tuesday night featured a small six-game slate. Tuesday night was an off night for the experts with no expert receiving a DailyOverlay score over five.
Industry Consensus Picks
The Industry Consensus picks finished in the near the bottom of the pack on Tuesday with a Daily Overlay Score of only 2.74 which put them in 8th place out of the 10 experts graded.

#1) DFSOnDemand (Score: 4.86) led the field on Tuesday with 5 of their 7 selection receiving a grade of a “B” or better. DFSOnDemand was led by strong grades from Anthony Davis, Jerami Grant and Nikola Vucevic.
#2) DailyRoto (Score: 4.06) finished in 2nd place for the day with 10 selection receiving a “B” or higher grade out of their 17 selections. Key selections included Damian Lillard, John Wall, Anthony Davis and Alex Len.

Wednesday (Dec 2)
Wednesday night featured a solid nine-game slate of NBA action. The experts had a stronger night on Wednesday especially at the top with two experts finishing with a DailyOverlay score over six and another one coming in just over five.

The Industry Consensus picks were a little bit better on Wednesday night finishing near the middle of the pack with a 7th place showing out of 11 experts graded with a Daily Overlay score of 3.76.

Friday night featured a fairly small slate of games compared to a normal Friday night. The experts were bunched together in the standings on Friday night with 8 of the 13 experts with DailyOverlay scores between 4.19 and 4.89.

The Industry Consensus picks had their best DailyOverlay score of the week at 4.21 but were still only good enough to finish in 8th place out of 13 experts graded.

We now have completed six weeks of the NBA season and the overall standings have the same experts holding onto the top spots on the leaderboard. You can view the full NBA Overall Standings here.
#1) DailyRoto (Score 5.20) remaining in the top spot with another solid week including finishing in second place on Tuesday and finishing in the top 4 every day this week.
#2) RotoGrinders NBA Grind Down (Score: 5.13) is starting to close the gap between first and second place with their excellent showing this week that included two first place finishes. Let’s see if they can overtake DailyRoto next week.
#3) Moxyball-MoxyList (Score 4.87) remains in third place with a solid week that included finishing in the top five every day this week.
The Daily Overlay Industry Consensus picks (Score: 4.62) had a down week which dropped them one spot in the overall standings to 6th this week out of a total of 14 experts graded this season.
