Boy, last night surely was disappointing.

Golden State may be ready to make a run, blowing out its third straight team after disposing of the Thunder last night.

If you had shares in the Denver/Houston and Philly/Orlando game, you likely had a really great night.

I had a few shares, but the results did not align with the rest of my lineups. The actual result was dreadful.

But we are back at it tonight with an 8-game slate.

For my picks today, I really wanted to play some Suns, but we don’t know the status of Devin Booker late Monday night (when I write these things). Should Booker be ruled out, that changes the landscape in DFS for me. As would Giannis Ante…whatever his name is…the Greek Freak, his absence also would change how we construct our lineups.

So I wanted throw all of that out there because my picks would change should we find out about Booker and Giannis sitting.

Lastly, I’m having some technical difficulties and am doing the rest of this by phone, so no gifs today.

Below are today’s picks, good luck!

Cory Joseph – PG – Toronto Raptors $5,000

Analysis: The Bulls are a team that doesn’t seem to care while the Raptors, are tying to stay afloat in the playoff race sans Kyle Lowry. The Raptors haven’t played well in recent memory, but get a great draw against the hapless Bulls. While DDR has been struggling and Serge Ibaka’s minutes have been all over the place, Joseph has been the steady hand, seeing 30 minutes on a nightly basis. Joseph gets a great matchup against Rajon Rondo, who couldn’t cover a sloth dressed in Harlem Globetrotters’ gear. At $5K, Joseph should see plenty of minutes to get to and exceed 5x value.

Spencer Dinwiddie – SG – Brooklyn Nets – $3,800

Analysis: No Jeremy Lin, no Joe Harris, no Sean Kilpatrick, so despite the tougher defensive matchup, this Nets guard will be a body having to play a ton of minutes. If he weren’t SG eligible, I might look elsewhere, but thanks to DK, we can punt this position for a guy who should run the point and get Ish Smith/Reggie Jackson defense. A fine punt play who should see a lot of run and have more opportunity to fish assists and score at SG for under $4K? Sign me up.
