With a sample size large enough to reflect back on this season, we are going to change things up a bit with the Value Index. The Index worked very well during basketball season – 5 positions, 1 at each position, plus it’s basketball. But for baseball, I don’t think picking one person at every position works…
Happy Good Friday everyone! It’s a wonderful day for baseball and fantasy baseball! Tonight’s slate is awesome. We have a ton of games, a great array of starting pitchers to choose from, including Clayton Kershaw, and some interesting ways we can attack this slate. Considering this is a freebie Friday for the Value Index, it’s…
The Blue Jays are back on top of the stacks with Joey Bats back in the fold. The usual suspects show up from the Jays lineup to create the top stack on the board for the night. If I would have told you that David Phelps would be picked by 12 experts, you would have…
Here is the Industry Expert Consensus picks for Wednesday night’s 12-game slate. The experts seem to be divided on which starting pitchers to target tonight with nine different pitchers selected by at least three experts. On the hitting side there are a few individual batters with some high counts led by Stephen Vogt who was…
After a plethora of options last night, the Consensus leaves us a bit short-handed tonight. Odd because we’ve added another expert to the fold which, you would think, would mean more Consensus players. Do you roster Zack Greinke in his first start off the DL? Do you stack the A’s like the Consensus tells you…
Monday night features a solid nine-game slate of MLB action. The experts are in agreement with who the top plays are with six players being selected by at least seven experts and many more selected six times. However, Coors Field seems to be under-represented tonight with only four players making the list despite coming in…
Big Wednesday night 12-game slate with only three afternoon games today. The experts have posted their picks and not surprisingly the Rockies’ bats represent the biggest stack recommendation on the slate. However, there are four other hitter stacks to choose from if you want to try to fade Coors Field. Be sure to check out…
The MLB trade deadline has come and gone with a lot of players on the move to new teams. This will shake up some team’s lineups tonight so be sure to watch the starting lineups closely when they are announced as there could be some undervalued options hitting near the top of the order. Be…
There are 14 games on Friday night and only one true ace taking the hill. If you load up with Scherzer, the Consensus does not provide a lot of value plays this evening. However, if you pay down at pitcher, you can load up with some power bats…and what better place to find them than…
It’s the final installment of the week for BvP for MVP. Tonight we have a 14-game slate because the Cubs play their usual Friday day game at Wrigley. There are some very interesting pricing options across the board on DraftKings, especially for pitchers. But the biggest pricing discrepancy I’ve seen is not quite a $220…
It’s good to be back. I felt the pain that some folks feel by not being able to even play DFS the last few days. I spent Saturday-Tuesday in Mississippi and Alabama, both of which have outlawed DFS. Even with that said, I’ll be in Texas the remainder of this week which means FanDuel will…
A fairly limited number of options from the Consensus tonight. Only five different starting pitching choices should make for an interesting time in our Lineup Construction article. A few stack options including loading up on Cardinals right-handed bats against the putrid John Lamb in the bandbox Great American Ballpark. Weather looks fairly clear tonight so…
