NBA DFS Picks – 12/17/19
The NBA has six games on tap for Tuesday night and there are a bunch of strong options to consider for your DFS lineups. Injury news should be watched closely as Anthony Davis and Devin Booker are questionable to play and would open up some value and usage bumps if they are out. Only brief writeups for the Droppin’ Dimes DFS plays for the night, so let’s make this a freebie.
The grid below is a snapshot of today’s slate that shows the overall rating for each position for each team. Hot Sheet for December 17th
Droppin’ Dimes
LeBron James (LAL) – James is a good play if Anthony Davis plays and a must-start if Davis is out
Kawhi Leonard (LAC) – Both Leonard and Paul George are viable options, but Leonard has had a higher floor than George and has a better matchup according to my homebrewed DvP
Spencer Dinwiddie (BKN) – Dinnwiddie has scored exactly 24 points in five of his last six games but could score more tonight in a plus matchup against the Pelicans
Nikola Vucevic (ORL) – Played 29 minutes in his first game back while putting up 20 points and nine boards
Julius Randle (NY) – Randle has at least 20 points and nine boards in three straight games and the Hawks struggle against PFs
Marcus Morris (NY) – The Hawks are even worse against SF so look for a spike game for Morris tonight
Marvin Bagley (SAC) – Should start to see his minutes ramp up in his fourth game since returning from injury
Lonzo Ball (NO) – Could rejoin the starting lineup with JJ Redick out
DeAndre Hunter (ATL) – Hunter has played at least 37 minutes in three of his last four games
JaVale McGee (LAL) – Only consider McGee if Anthony Davis is ruled out
