NBA – Value Index – Wednesday, Oct. 30
Value plays for Wednesday’s NBA DFS Slate
So, this writer is going to be AWOL for a few days….very soon.
The wife and I are expecting a second child pretty much any day now. That could be tomorrow or next week, but no later than Nov. 14.
With that comes some anxiety and a big change in routine in our household.
But as we wait to welcome our newest addition, we have a new edition of the Value Index in the NBA tonight.
Hopefully we don’t get any crazy s-hit happening tonight like Tuesday’s THREE-game slate that was filled with last-minute Anthony Davis injury news, Trae Young getting hurt and Luka Doncic almost getting hurt.
I mean, the Anthony Davis stuff is basically comical these days, but also concerning. The Lakers had all day to report on his shoulder and then in minutes before the second game locked, AD was ruled questionable and then available to play…all within 10 minutes.
I made swaps and it killed my lineups.
Basketball would be so much better if they played just once per week. But what do I know?
Anyway, let’s take a look at today’s picks (assuming there’s no crazy injury news).
Kevin Love – PF – Cleveland Cavaliers – $8,200
Analysis: Only needing 41 fantasy points on DraftKings to make value, Kevin Love continues to be a double-double machine and tonight the Cavaliers and Bulls square off to see who is worse than the other. The Bulls are allowing the second-most DK fantasy points per game to power forwards so far this season. Love is out there taking double-digit 3-point shots, snagging 10 or more rebounds or even handing out 9 assists. He can do it all and feel this price sets his floor for this matchup with his ceiling being large tonight, especially as Love continues to work back into a full-time role and into game shape.
