Top NFL DFS Experts – Week 12
It was a challenging week in the NFL for the DFS analysts and optimizers but DailyFantasySportsRankings were able to navigate the slate as the top expert for Week 12. They were followed by DFSArmy – DFSUpNorth, and Rotoballer.
The top of the overall standings remains the same in the top two spots with Rotowire and DailyFantasyInsider, but we saw DFSKarma – Cash Targets jump into the Top 3.
On to the Week 12 grades, class is in session!
Consensus Recap – Week 12 – Cash options
The Industry Consensus Cash picks finished right in the middle of the pack this week with a 16th place finish out of 33 experts graded.
QB (Score: 1.75 / Rank 18th out of 32) – Baker Mayfield was good, but the other three QBs on the list struggled
RB (Score: 3.67 / Rank 17th out of 32) – A solid list of options including Derrick Henry (A+), Nick Chubb (A), Alvin Kamara (B), and Le’Veon Bell (B)
WR (Score: 2.86 / Rank 10th out of 33) – The WR list was a little bit hit-or-miss but did have three of the top nine WRs scores on the slate including Michael Thomas, Odell Beckham, and Calvin Ridley
TE (Score: 3.60 / Rank 13th out of 31) – A strong list of TEs including the top scorer (Zach Ertz) as the most recommended play at the position
D/ST (Score: 1.00 / Rank 12th out of 23) – Not much to see here with the Steelers (B) as the best option
Consensus Recap – Week 12 – GPP options
The Industry Consensus GPP picks had a good week with a 13th place finish out of 33 experts graded.
QB (Score: 3.80 / Rank 4th out of 32) – Good list of QBs on the GPP list which included Sam Darnold, Jameis Winston, and Drew Brees
RB (Score: 3.50 / Rank 18th out of 32) – The RB list had the top two scorers at the position with Leonard Fournette and Christian McCaffrey, but nothing else
WR (Score: 2.20 / Rank 20th out of 33) – A lot of “F” grades but two breakouts with Jarvis Landry and D.J. Moore getting “A+” marks
TE (Score: 1.67 / Rank 22nd out of 31) – Mike Gesicki was solid with an “A”, but that was all
D/ST (Score: 3.50 / Rank 4th out of 23) – The Eagles D/ST was good with an “A+” grade but the rest got a “C” or worse
