PGA – 2019 Charles Schwab Challenge – Weighted Consensus

Welcome to the Weighted Consensus for the PGA where we publish a more in-depth version of the PGA Consensus rankings that take into account each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.

To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. If you have ever wondered how to differentiate between two players who were both selected by the same number of experts, then this is the list you need. We will include all players that are selected by at least two experts.

MLB – On the Hill – Wednesday (May 22)

The Wednesday night slate consists of 10 games on DraftKings and 11 games on FanDuel. There are a bunch of high-priced aces on the hill tonight led by a matchup between Max Scherzer and Jacob deGrom in New York. Besides my typical trio of pitching recommendations, you will also get a bonus pick on the mound. On the hitting side, all of the high-profile teams in good spots cost a hefty price but luckily there may be a sneaky, cheap stack to consider to make your lineup work.

Note: Since this article is more geared toward DraftKings you won’t find a Cardinals stack on my list, but it is certainly in play on FanDuel with good weather conditions for hitters and Homer Bailey on the hill for the Royals.

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – May 21st

There is a long list of players on the Weighted Consensus list for Tuesday 14-game MLB DFS slate. However, other than a few players and teams ownership could be spread out as we only have five stacks on the list, yet 10 pitchers made it over the ranking threshold to be included on the list.

MLB – On the Hill – Tuesday (May 21)

There is the typical big Tuesday night slate on the MLB diamonds tonight with 14 games on the docket for DFS. There are a bunch of strong pitching options to choose from but most of them will cost you. I’ll try to find a little bit of value by pivoting off the highest priced options down to the next pricing tier to get my arms for Tuesday night. The other reason for this is because you will probably want to spend your salary on bats with some obvious teams to target that will eat up a lot of your budget.

MLB – On the Hill – Monday (May 20)

We have an eight-game MLB DFS slate to start off the work week on Monday night. There are a bunch of pitchers that are worth consideration on this slate, so I’d recommend spreading out your exposure. In addition to the three I have listed below, other pitchers that I’m comfortable rostering include Mike Soroka, Luke Weaver, and Brad Peacock.

MLB – On the Hill – Friday (May 17)

Friday night starts off the weekend with a full 15-game slate of MLB action. The stars will be on the mound Friday night with a trio of high-priced aces on the hill. While there is one that has the best matchup, all three are viable options. You shouldn’t have to pay up for two of them, however, as there are a few solid value options to also consider while filling out your pitcher slot(s). Meanwhile, at the plate, there are, of course, a bunch of strong stacking option. A few that didn’t make the cut for my article today that I’ll still give consideration to include the Cardinals, Angels, and Rangers. Let’s start off the weekend with a bang!
