PGA – 2019 Valspar Championship – Weighted Consensus

Welcome to the Weighted Consensus for the PGA where we publish a more in-depth version of the PGA Consensus rankings that take into account each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.

To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. If you have ever wondered how to differentiate between two players who were both selected by the same number of experts, then this is the list you need. We will include all players that are selected by at least two experts.

NBA – Industry Expert Consensus – March 20th

There is a nine-game slate on the NBA hardwood Wednesday night. There are five games that come in with a Vegas total over 220 points and plenty of injury news that has popped up throughout the day. Find out who tops the expert consensus rankings tonight!

The Weighted Consensus for the NBA uses each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking. To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score for players is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. This method gives the higher rated experts picks more weight when compiling the overall player rankings for the day. We will include all players that generate a Rank Score of at least 10.0.

NHL – Industry Expert Consensus – March 20th

Just a small four-game NHL slate on Wednesday night. The DFS experts still supplied a solid list of options at each position. Be sure you pay attention to who is starting between the pipes before locking in your goalie.

To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score for players is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. NBA – Hot Sheet – March 20

There is a nine-game NBA slate on tap for Wednesday night. Injuries and late scratches are the name of the game at this point in the season which makes picking DFS players difficult early in the day. That said, I have another 10-pack of DFS options that have my interest based on my current read of the slate.

The grid below is a snapshot of today’s slate that shows the overall rating for each position for each team. The numbers highlighted in red are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

Monday feels like it is going to be one of those days where chaos ensues as the day the progresses with players getting ruled out all over the place. We already know that Russell Westbrook, Kawhi Leonard, Serge Ibaka, and C.J. McCollum are out and there a plenty more that are still questionable.
