NBA – Hot Sheet – March 15

It could be a high-scoring night on the NBA hardwood with five of the eight games coming in with a Vegas total of 225 points or more. It could also be a high-scoring night in DFS with plenty of strong value options that could open up along with many solid high-priced studs and mid-range options to choose from.

The grid below is a snapshot of today’s slate that shows the overall rating for each position for each team. The numbers highlighted in red are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

NHL – Industry Expert Consensus – March 14th

There is a big 10-game NHL slate on Thursday night. The DFS experts from around the industry couldn’t seem to agree on the top plays on the ice as there is a deep list of options to chose from in the Weighted Consensus.

The Weighted Consensus for the NHL uses each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking. To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score for players is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. This method gives the higher rated experts picks more weight when compiling the overall player rankings for the day. We will include all players that have a Rank Score over 5.0.

NBA – Hot Sheet – March 14

Wow, the chalk on Wednesday didn’t produce like everyone expected in what was some low cash game scores in DFS. The chalk will try to bounce back on Thursday night in another six-game NBA slate. There are also a few injuries to keep an eye on which could open up some value, especially at PG.

PGA – 2019 THE PLAYERS Championship – Weighted Consensus

Welcome to the Weighted Consensus for the PGA where we publish a more in-depth version of the PGA Consensus rankings that take into account each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.

To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. If you have ever wondered how to differentiate between two players who were both selected by the same number of experts, then this is the list you need. We will include all players that are selected by at least two experts.

It’s hump day as the NBA tips off with a fun six-game slate on Wednesday night. All six games have a favorite of about seven points or fewer and five of the six games come in with a Vegas total over 220 points. There are also plenty of marquee players on the slate to choose from but finding value might be tricky depending on news that breaks throughout the day.

Tuesday’s seven-game NBA DFS slate was a challenge to find players that I actually want to roster. As such, I’m looking to go with a “Stars and Scars” type of lineup build to try to maximize upside. I might also consider playing a little less in cash games and a little more GPP on this slate.

There is a six-game slate on the NBA hardwood Monday night. The slate features four games that have a Vegas favorite of four points or fewer. Meanwhile, one game stands alone when it comes to points as the Wizards/Kings matchup comes in with a Vegas total over 240 points while no other game reaches above 230 points. Take a wild guess where numerous of my DFS plays are coming from tonight.
