MLB – On the Hill – Wednesday (April 25)

You will have a tough decision to make at SP on Wednesday night’s eight-game (nine on FD) slate as Clayton Kershaw takes the mound. The desire to roster Kershaw is not the tough decision, the hard part comes on DK where he commands a $14,000 salary. That is a lot of chedda to shell out for one player, even Kershaw. If you are going to pull the trigger, you will need to find a cheap pitcher to pair him with and a bunch of value bats as well. MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – April 24th

Despite a bunch of gas can pitchers and a game at Coors Field on the slate, there are only five stacks that made the list for Tuesday’s 11-game slate. Ownership might pretty spread out when it comes to pitchers with four different options coming in with projected ownership of 36% or higher. Picking the right pitcher(s) might be the key to cashing on Tuesday night. Also be sure to keep a close watch on the weather as there are numerous PPD risks.

The Weighted Consensus for the MLB is where we publish an in-depth version of rankings every day that considers each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.  To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score for hitters and pitchers is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. This method gives the higher rated experts picks more weight when compiling the overall player rankings for the day. We will include all players that generate a Rank Score of at least 8.0.

MLB – On the Hill – Tuesday (April 24)

If you like runs and high scoring fantasy then that Monday’ night slate was for you. Tuesday’s slate sets up similar but not quite as explosive without any high-priced pitchers that I trust. We will also need to keep a close on the weather as there are numerous games that could get washed out including a few of my recommendations below. Roster construction could be interesting tonight as I plan to focus on paying up for hitters and getting value pitchers where I can.

MLB – On the Hill – Monday (April 23)

Monday night brings us a solid eight-game MLB DFS slate that includes a few high-priced pitching options to choose from along with a game at Coors Field. While I do have interest in getting some bats from the Padres and Rockies playing in Coors, especially on FanDuel where the salaries on the Padres hitters are a steal, neither of them will make my stacks recommendations for the night. MLB Expert Recap and Grades – Week of April 16th

Another week in the books for the 2018 MLB season and another round of grades/scores for the MLB DFS Analysts. While the top spot on the Pitchers (RotoGrinders – 6-pack) and Hitters (FantasyTeamAdvice) remained the same we did have a couple of new sites join the Top 3 ranks with DailyFantasyNerd moving into 3rd place […]

MLB – On the Hill – Friday (April 20)

What a fantastic Friday night MLB slate! There are 15 games. There are numerous Ace pitching options. There is a game at Coors Field. It should be a crazy night of DFS! I have whittled down all the chaos to still provide just three pitching options and three stacks that I will be giving the most consideration to on the big Friday night slate. If this slate doesn’t get you excited then you shouldn’t be playing DFS.

MLB – On the Hill – Thursday (April 19)

Thursday brings a small five-game main slate where I’m not going to get too cute with my pitching options. The mid-priced and value options scare the hell out of me so in Cash games, I’m going straight to the top including for both of my pitchers on two-pitcher sites. There looks to be enough value […]

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – April 18th

The Wednesday night MLB slate features seven games and is full of high-priced pitchers to decide between. See which pitcher was the most recommended by the DFS analysts and which value option you might want to pair him with. Meanwhile, on the hitting side there are a lot of stacking options but one teams stands alone with seven players recommended.

MLB – On the Hill – Wednesday (April 18)

With Wednesday’s split slate of MLB action, I’ll focus on the seven-game evening slate which has numerous high-priced pitchers to consider. There is not much value on the pitching side but there is some value bats and a couple of sneaky stacks that could pay off. One of the sneaky stacks is written up in my article but the other one that I want to get at least one GPP lineup with is a Mariners’ stack against Gerrit Cole. Cole has been sensational and is my “Ace” pitcher of the night but somewhere way down deep in my gut, I think there is a decent chance he gets lit up by the top of the Mariners’ lineup, so I will for sure have at least one Mariners’ GPP stack.

MLB – On the Hill – Tuesday (April 17)

The Tuesday night 12-game MLB slate sets up nicely with a good mix of high-priced pitching and hitting stacks in good spots along with some value options that allow us to pay up for those pitchers and hitters. There are two pitchers that stand out from my research, who I expect to both be chalky options. However, all three of my hitter stacks might be a little bit contrarian in their own way with a lot of teams worth stack consideration.
