MLB – On the Hill – Monday (April 16)

Sorry for the delay getting my “On the Hill” article out today but that’s what happens when I have to dig out of a foot of snow in the middle of April. It is supposed to be Spring, right?!?! Monday is a strange 10-game slate. I don’t feel like I have a good grasp on my favorite pitcher quite yet but have at least narrowed it down to four, so I’ll give you a bonus option from my usual three pitcher recommendations. The hitting side of things is much clearer for me with a few teams in good spots and with reasonable salaries to stack up.

MLB Expert Recap and Grades – Week of April 9th

I am experimenting with a little different format for the MLB Weekly Grading Recap article this week by providing a grid of results for all of the MLB DFS experts that we gather picks from and grade each day. The results grids are split out into Pitchers and Hitters and provide each expert’s DailyOverlay score […]

MLB – On the Hill – Friday (April 13)

It figures that Friday the 13th would feature a 13-game MLB DFS slate. Let the superstitions begin! I’m not one to think about or believe in superstitions too much but that said I am also the one that will wear the same shirt on gameday if the team I root for won the last time I wore it. Whatever you believe in on this day, I just encourage you to embrace it and channel it when building your DFS lineups for the 13-game Friday the 13th slate.

MLB – On the Hill – Thursday (April 12)

Thursday’s On the Hill article will be FREE and will also take on a little bit of a different look with just four games on the DraftKings main slate (five on FanDuel). First of all, there is really only one pitcher that I want to roster but I’ll give you two since I guess you […]

PGA – 2018 RBC Heritage – Weighted Consensus

Welcome to the Weighted Consensus for the PGA where we publish a more in-depth version of the PGA Consensus rankings that take into account each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking.

To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. If you have ever wondered how to differentiate between two players who were both selected by the same number of experts, then this is the list you need. We will include all players that are selected by at least two.

Be sure to sign up a FREE 7-day trial of our Premium Content to find out which high-priced Stud and Value options sit atop the expert’s list.

MLB – On the Hill – Wednesday (April 11)

Wednesday features a split slate of MLB action. This article will focus on the evening (main) slate of action with seven games on the FanDuel slate and six games on the DraftKings slate. There are limited pitching options worth considering, especially on DK without the Athletics/Dodgers matchup. However, there are plenty of hitting stack to consider on what should be a night with relatively spread out ownership of the hitting stacks.

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – April 10th

Tuesday features a big 12-game MLB slate. That is a lot of matchups to analyze but luckily we have you covered by pulling DFS expert picks from a variety of sites around the web and condensing them down into a compact by position matrix with all the most recommended options. Today’s MLB Weighted Consensus Ranking […]

MLB – On the Hill – Tuesday (April 10)

Tuesday features our biggest main slate of the year with 12 games of MLB action. Cold weather still headlines many of the games on Tuesday with more than half expecting temperatures below 60 degrees with a few in the upper 30s or lower 40s. At least there doesn’t appear to be any rain (or snow) in the forecast so at least all the games should play.

MLB – On the Hill – Monday (April 9)

Monday features a good-looking 10-game slate of MLB action. There are a trio of high-priced ace pitchers to choose from and plenty of stacking opportunities including a game at Coors Field. It is going to tough to fit in all of the pitchers and hitters you want so I’ll also do some bargain hunting on both the pitching and hitting stacks side to allow you to pay up for some of the pitchers and hitters in prime spots.

MLB – On the Hill – Friday (April 6)

Friday offers up a nice seven-game MLB DFS slate. The drastic differences in pricing for pitchers between the sites will dictate how you should construct your lineup. With FanDuel’s soft pricing on pitchers you can roster whoever you want such as Lance McCullers or Kenta Maeda (McCullers is my preference) but on DraftKings things are quite different with high salaries for McCullers and Maeda and no cheap options that instill any confidence, I’m looking to take more of a “value” approach to selecting pitchers for my Cash game lineup. So, in review, FanDuel use McCullers, on DraftKings read my article to get my recommended pivots.

MLB – On the Hill – Thursday (April 5) – Main Slate

With just a small three-game night slate on DraftKings (4-game on FD), I’m going to lighten up on my play and focus only on GPPs. The approach I am taking is to focus on the Brewers, Cardinals and Pirates with my hitting stacks and also use the pitchers throwing against them. Wait, what?!?! The premise […]
