NBA – Hot Sheet – Wednesday (March 14)

For a small four-game slate there sure are a lot of moving pieces to sort out before really locking in a lineup on Wednesday. The rosters in Boston and Golden St. in particular are a mess with numerous players already ruled out and other still uncertain to play or not. Meanwhile, there is also injury news to monitor in LA, Orlando and Sacramento that could make a difference on which players to roster. So, I have attempted to list players below that I feel have a secured role/minutes for the most part. Other players that I would consider depending on how injury new shakes out include Klay Thompson, Kyle Kuzma, Aaron Gordon and Skal Labissiere.

The grid below is a snapshot of today’s slate that shows the overall rating for each position for each team. The numbers highlighted in red are the positions that are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

NBA – What If – Tuesday (March 13)

The injury situations for Tuesday’s big 11-game NBA slate seem to be increasing as the day goes on making tough lineup decisions potentially even tougher with so many good options on consider from cheap value plays all the way up to high-priced studs. This article will attempt to list all of the relevant injury situations […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Tuesday (March 13)

Tuesday brings us a massive 11-game NBA slate. Despite the large slate, I seemed to have a fairly easy time zeroing in on my DFS Droppin’ Dimes plays for the day. Sure there are a few others that I have some interest in but on a large slate I want upside and this group of players is full of upside.

NBA – What If – Monday (March 12)

Just a small four-game slate in the Association on Monday night, however, there are a few key players that have already been ruled out which opens up some value DFS options. There are also a few situations to monitor just in case other players that are expected to suit up turn into late-scratches. This article […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Monday (March 12)

Time to fill out those March Madness brackets! What a great time of year for sports! Only a four-game slate in the Association on Monday night but there is still a nice mix of high-priced studs and injuries opening up some value which give us a lot of different ways to construct our lineups.

NBA – What If – Friday (March 9)

Buckle up it is going to be a wild ride on Friday’s 10-game NBA slate. There are a ton of impactful injuries to dissect and monitor. Key players already out or doubtful include Anthony Davis, Steph Curry, and Aaron Gordon. Check out the What If Matrix below for players to consider from their respective teams […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Friday (March 9)

Friday night’s big 10-game NBA slate is going to be crazy! It is the biggest slate of the week, there are a ton of injuries to process and half of the games have a Vegas total of 220 points or higher. As you would expect on a big slate with a lot of injuries opening up playing time and usage for other players there are a lot of options.

My Droppin’ Dimes list has expanded tonight to include “And 1” for the continuation but here are a few other players that somehow didn’t make my final list: LeBron James, James Harden, Damian Lillard, Eric Bledsoe, Ben McLemore and Frank Mason (if De’Aaron Fox is out). As you can see there are a lot of the “high-priced” studs that I am forgoing in order to load up on “value” studs that abound on the slate.

NBA – What If – Thursday (March 8)

Small slate on Thursday with just five games on tap which equates to a short list of injuries to watch with Kyrie Irving as the key status to monitor. This article will attempt to list all of the relevant injury situations to monitor for the day’s NBA slate and provide guidance on which players will […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Thursday (March 8)

While there were a ton of players I like on Wednesday’s slate, Thursday’s small five-game slate is a struggle to find options to roster, especially when looking for value. So, while I would love to roster the top high-priced stud of the night, Russell Westbrook, I may find myself taking a more balanced approach to […]

NBA – What If – Wednesday (March 7)

Almost every team on Wednesday’s seven-game NBA slate has at least one player out or with their status up in the air. On a slate with a lot of high-priced stars in good spots finding some cheap value could allow you to fit in more than one. This article will attempt to list all of […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Wednesday (March 7)

Some days my top 10 Droppin’ Dimes recommendations come together easily. Wednesday’s seven-game NBA slate is not one of those days as there are a ton of players I want to include. Here is a list of players I’m still considering but did not make my top 10 list for the night: Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Gary Harris, Paul Millsap, Victor Oladipo, Jrue Holiday, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Clint Capela, JaMychal Green, Aaron Gordon, Ben McLemore and whichever of the Kings bigs that suit up. I told you I had a hard time deciding! Hopefully, things start to crystallize more as the day progresses.
