NBA – What If – Tuesday (March 6)

Tuesday’s eight-games only has a couple situations to monitor for potential inactives as of midday. Of course, things can change in a hurry so keep monitoring injury news all the way to tipoff. This article will attempt to list all of the relevant injury situations to monitor for the day’s NBA slate and provide guidance […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Tuesday (March 6)

Tuesday features an eight-game NBA slate. Most of the DFS attention will be focused on the three games that have a Vegas total over 220 and while I have some interest in those matchups (one in particular) there are other strong options on the slate to pivot to at both the mid-range and value salaries.

The grid below is a snapshot of today’s slate that shows the overall rating for each position for each team. The numbers highlighted in red are the positions that are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

NBA – What If – Monday (March 5)

We have already had our first injury bomb of the day with the news that Kyrie Irving has been ruled out. Of course, that opens up some value options in Boston but be sure to continue to watch for injury news updates on a variety of other players leading up to tipoff on Monday’s seven-game […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Monday (March 5)

Monday starts off the work week with a seven-game slate in the Association. There is a wide range of solid options to choose on the slate from high-priced studs to value options which should spread out ownership percentages unless some injury news frees up some chalky value plays like Kyrie Irving being out will likely do.

NBA – What If – Friday (March 2)

Friday’s big 10-game NBA slate has a few situations to monitor before lineup lock, in particular in Memphis, Phoenix and Charlotte. This article will attempt to list all of the relevant injury situations to monitor for the day’s NBA slate and provide guidance on which players will benefit with either an increase in minutes or […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Friday (March 2)

Risk and upside is the name of the game for my Friday DFS recommendations on the big 10-game slate. While many of these plays may be more suitable for GPPs, I love the upside that every one of these players has tonight. Hopefully, some additional value opens up in Memphis (Mario Chalmers or Wayne Selden), Phoenix (Josh Jackson) or Charlotte (Jeremy Lamb) depending on the injury reports leading up to tipoff.

Just a small four-game NBA slate on Thursday and it appears that all of the main DFS impactful news has already been sorted out with a pair of guards out for the Heat and one for the Lakers. So, if you build those lineups earlier in the day you might not have to change them […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Thursday (March 1)

Just a mini four-game slate on Thursday night in the Association. On small slates like this, my goal is to find the best point per dollar option on each team to spread out the risk for Cash games and maximize upside in GPPs. So, in today’s free Droppin’ Dimes you will find my top player […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Wednesday (Feb 28)

Despite the big nine-game NBA slate on Wednesday, I had a fairly easy time whittling the players I like down to 15, unfortunately pairing them down to my top 10 was difficult so here are the five players that just barely missed out on today’s Droppin’ Dimes recommendations: Draymond Green, JJ Barea, Otto Porter, Kyle Lowry and Evan Fournier.
