NBA – Hot Sheet – Wednesday (Feb 14)

With a huge 12-game NBA slate with the All-Star break approaching, I “love” way too many players on this Valentine’s Day slate to limit myself to just 10 recommendations. So, I have added an “And 1” to my official list and here are a few players that I “like” but just didn’t make the cut to receive a Valentine card from me: Joel Embiid, Blake Griffin, Bradley Beal, Damian Lillard, Zach LaVine, Joe Ingles, Austin Rivers and Ed Davis.

Also, note this will be the last Hot Sheet article until after the All-Star break with only two games on the docket for Thursday night. Let’s end the first half of the season with a bang!

The grid below is a snapshot of today’s slate that shows the overall rating for each position for each team. The numbers highlighted in red are the positions that are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

NBA – Industry Expert Consensus – February 13th

There will be a lot of focus on the two games with Vegas totals over 220 points on Tuesday’s six-game slate with a pair of marquee matchups between the Rockets/Timberwolves and Cavaliers/Thunder. Yet, there is still a nice mix of value options from other games up and down the DFS Experts Weighted Consensus List. The […]

NBA – What If – Tuesday (Feb 13)

All of the injury watch focus is on the Thunder for Tuesday night’s six-game NBA slate. The status of Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony will go a long way toward shaping the DFS slate. This article will attempt to list all of the relevant injury situations to monitor for the day’s NBA slate and provide […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Tuesday (Feb 13)

Tuesday’s six-game NBA slate should be a fun one including two marquee matchups with the Rockets facing the Timberwolves and Thunder taking on the Cavaliers. We’ll need to watch injury news for the Thunder to determine the right plays but I for sure want to get exposure to both of these games.

NBA – What If – Monday (Feb 12)

There are a few spots to watch leading up to Monday’s tipoff of a six-game slate including Utah, San Antonio and Phoenix. There are also a few players already ruled out which opens up some opportunities for value plays. This article will attempt to list all of the relevant injury situations to monitor for the […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Monday (Feb 12)

Monday’s NBA slate includes six games with half of them coming in with a Vegas total of 220 points or more. That would lead you to believe we are in for a high scoring night in DFS but with limited cheap value options that I trust, building a High/Low salary lineup is a challenge unless some more reliable value opens up.

NBA – What If – Friday (Feb 9)

Thursday’s NBA trades at the deadline will have a significant impact on Friday’s slate. Many of the players changing addresses will likely not play tonight opening up playing time and DFS consideration for numerous players. There are also a few injury situations to watch, so be sure to check out the What If Matrix as […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Friday (Feb 9)

While the NBA trade deadline has come and gone the impact of the deals that were made will significantly impact Friday night’s nine-game slate. The impact won’t be felt by the players that were actually in the deals but those who are left behind to gobble up minutes while the new acquisitions pass physicals, travel to meet their new team and start to get acquainted with the playbook. No surprise that the Cavaliers who blew up their roster yesterday are the team where the remaining players have the most to gain on Friday night. There are also a few players who were traded previously that will be playing their old teams for the first time. #NarrativeStreet

NBA – What If – Thursday (Feb 8)

I wanted to wait until after the NBA Trade Deadline today before publishing the What If Matrix to incorporate any impact to the teams playing Thursday that made deals. Teams most impacted for tonight’s games include the Lakers and Magic. There are also some injuries to keep an eye on. This article will attempt to […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Thursday (Feb 8)

Happy NBA Trade Deadline Day! Things are pretty quiet as I write this Thursday morning but things should heat up by the 3 pm (EST) deadline. I tried to be a little bit more conservative with my recommendations below since I’m expecting some trades to impact tonight’s six-game slate and free up some cheap value […]

Another fairly quiet day on the NBA injury watch as there are a few players already ruled out or doubtful including Devin Booker, Dwyane Wade, Kelly Olynyk and Darren Collison. There are also a few that seem to be Probable as of this writing like Victor Oladipo and Andre Drummond. However, things can change quickly […]
