NBA – Hot Sheet – Wednesday (Feb 7)

Wednesday actually features one of the smallest slates of the week with only six games. The matchups also leave a little bit to be desired but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some strong DFS options to consider. Also, pay close attention to the injury news as I suspect we will get some inactives as we near the trade deadline on Thursday.

The grid below is a snapshot of today’s slate that shows the overall rating for each position for each team. The numbers highlighted in red are the positions that are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

NBA – Industry Expert Consensus – February 6th

Tuesday features a solid eight-game slate that includes some marquee matchups and plenty of scoring with five games exceeding the 210 Vegas total threshold including the Thunder/Warriors matchup that comes in with a 231 total and a lot of attention from the DFS experts. But that is not the only late-night game drawing interest as […]

NBA – What If – Tuesday (Feb 6)

Could it be? Two nights in a row with very few injuries to track. Seems a little too good to be true but with most players either Probable or Out already it could be a night where we don’t have to shuffle our lineups at the last minute. Of course, this is the NBA so […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Tuesday (Feb 6)

Tuesday night’s eight-game slate should be a fun one from the opening tipoff to final buzzer. This is truly the case as a majority of my plays either come from the first game of the night (Cavaliers/Magic) or from the final two games on the docket (Sun/Lakers and Thunder/Warriors). The late-night hammer will be in full effect so you better get some exposure or else you’ll see all your winnings disappear as the night goes on.

NBA – What If – Monday (Feb 5)

Monday’s seven-game slate looks fairly quiet on the injury watch front with most players either already ruled out or looking probable to play. The main question marks to keep an eye one are for the Pacers with a few key players listed as questionable. This article will attempt to list all of the relevant injury […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Monday (Feb 5)

What an entertaining Super Bowl from start to finish! Well, now that the NFL season has officially come to an end, it’s time to focus all of our attention to NBA DFS (and prepping for MLB). Monday night features an interesting seven-game slate. There is only one truly high-priced stud on the slate (Anthony Davis) but there are a ton of solid mid-priced options which lead me to more of a balance roster construction. So you will see no high-priced studs and only one deep value option on my Droppin’ Dimes list for Monday night.

NBA – What If – Friday (Feb 2)

Injury news in Milwaukee and Boston hold the key to Friday night’s nine-game slate. See which players are ruled out and how that affects your DFS lineups in the NBA What If matrix below along with the rest of the injuries to monitor leading up to tipoff. This article will attempt to list all of […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Friday (Feb 2)

Friday’s roster construction feels like it could be difficult to fit in a high-priced stud unless some more value options open up throughout the day, so while I do have one stud on my Droppin’ Dimes list my roster build is taking more of a balanced approach as of Friday morning with a lot of players I like in the mid-priced range.

NBA – What If – Thursday (Feb 1)

Just a five-game NBA slate on Thursday but there are still a few injury situations to monitor leading up to tipoff including the mess in Memphis, a pair of Rockets and Eric Bledsoe. This article will attempt to list all of the relevant injury situations to monitor for the day’s NBA slate and provide guidance […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Thursday (Feb 1)

Thursday has the smallest slate of the week with just five games on the NBA schedule. Despite the small slate, there are quite a few players that I like including some interesting gut call pivots that I have a feeling will produce. Enjoy today’s free NBA Hot Sheet! The grid below is a snapshot of […]

NBA – Industry Expert Consensus – January 31st

A night after we had a ton of strong value plays and crazy high DFS scores, Wednesday’s eight-game slate is a little more normal with a sprinkle of value options mixed in with some high-priced studs. The Vegas totals are also bunched together with five games coming in with a total between 210-216.

The Weighted Consensus for the NBA uses each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking. To calculate the Weighted Rank Score, each expert’s DailyOverlay score for players is weighted on a sliding scale from 1 to 5 with the top expert in the current standings being weighted with a five while the last place expert is weighted with a one. This method gives the higher rated experts picks more weight when compiling the overall player rankings for the day. We will include all players that generate a Rank Score of at least 10.0.
