NBA – What If – Wednesday (Jan 31)

We have an eight-game NBA slate on Wednesday and as usual, there are some injury situations to keep an eye on. Key players already ruled out today include Kyrie Irving, Lauri Markkanen, Kevin Love and Marvin Williams. Who might join the list next and which players benefit? Find out in today’s NBA What If. NBA – Hot Sheet – Wednesday (Jan 31)

I figured Tuesday night’s slate was going to be a wild one with some high DFS scores and boy was I right. My Droppin’ Dimes selections fared very well yesterday, grading out with the highest DailyOverlay score of all the experts. Unfortunately, I landed on Eric Gordon in almost every one of my lineups so my bankroll didn’t reap the rewards of my picks. Hopefully, some of you were able to resist Gordon and make some cash.

The Wednesday night slate consists of another fairly large slate with eight-games of NBA action. It shouldn’t be quite as crazy as Tuesday night but there are some interesting value option and a couple high-priced studs with something to prove that have peaked my interest. The grid below is a snapshot of today’s slate that shows the overall rating for each position for each team. The numbers highlighted in red are the positions that are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

NBA – What If – Tuesday (Jan 30)

There is a ton of news to monitor leading up to tipoff on Tuesday’s nine-game slate. Between injuries, trades and teams playing in back-to-back games it is shaping up as another very hectic NBA DFS lineup build. This article will attempt to list all of the relevant injury situations to monitor for the day’s NBA […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Tuesday (Jan 30)

With the blockbuster trade between Clippers and Pistons yesterday and both teams playing Tuesday night there will be plenty of value and increased minutes/usage on those teams as I don’t expect any of the players that were traded to play tonight. While those teams are heavily represented in my Droppin’ Dimes recommendations there are still plenty of other injury news to watch and high-priced studs to consider on what could be another frantic night of DFS hoops.

The numbers highlighted in red are the positions that are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

NBA – What If – Monday (Jan 29)

Just a six-game slate in the Association on Monday but there are definitely some situations to keep an eye on leading up to tipoff. Will Joel Embiid play in the second game of a back-to-back? Which Suns or Grizzlies might not see the court and who benefits? Hopefully, we find out answers to these questions […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Monday (Jan 29)

With very few high-priced studs, good defensive teams and low Vegas totals on Monday’s six-game NBA slate, I think it will be a pretty low scoring DFS night. There will be some injuries and potential rest scenarios to keep an eye on throughout the day which could lead to some strong value option which could help. Or if you can catch a game stack on one of the closely contested matchups and it goes into OT you could be golden. My favorite OT potential game stack is the Hornets/Pacers matchup.

The numbers highlighted in red are the positions that are in the top 25% of their position for the slate and indicate good plays. Meanwhile, the numbers highlighted in blue are the positions that are in the bottom 25% of their respective position for the slate and are positions to avoid.

NBA – What If – Friday (Jan 26)

There are 10 games on the Friday night slate in the Association but for such a large slate there are remarkably few injury situations to follow for significant fantasy players. Hopefully, we have a quiet night for once. This article will attempt to list all of the relevant injury situations to monitor for the day’s […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Friday (Jan 26)

Friday night features a big 10-game NBA slate with a plethora of high-priced studs to choose from. Who you roster of the big boys will be largely dependent on which site you are playing on taking pricing and position eligibility into account. Keep in mind that my recommendations below are geared toward DraftKings. It should be a fun one to kickoff of the weekend!

NBA – What If – Thursday (Jan 25)

Despite a small four-game slate on Thursday night there are quite a few injury statuses to keep an eye on leading up to tipoff. So, be sure to watch your favorite NBA late-breaking news provider and reference the What If matrix below for who steps into DFS consideration if a player is ruled out. This […]

NBA – Hot Sheet – Thursday (Jan 25)

Thursday may just be a four-game slate but there are a lot of question marks regarding who will play and who will sit out as of this writing on Thursday morning. Injury news will play a big role tonight (as it does most nights it the NBA) and could definitely change my recommendations. That said, […]
