I’m back after a week of vacation. Time to get back into the “swing” of things with another installment of On the Hill featuring my top three pitchers and my top three stacks. After a layoff, my read on the slate could be a little more hit-or-miss than usual since I haven’t been following the MLB quite as closely over the last week while I was sitting on the beach. So, I’d recommend not going all-in with my plays for Tuesday’s 15-game slate. That said, sometimes a little time off can do wonders, so I’ll give you two Contrarian stacks to consider and we’ll see what tonight brings.

Prepare for Sunday’s Nascar race in New Hampshire for the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301. There are a lot of high-priced drivers at the top of the Weighted Consensus Rankings this week, so finding the right value option or two will be a key to success.
The Weighted Consensus for the Nascar uses each expert’s current DailyOverlay score to generate a Weighted Consensus ranking. The MLB All-Star break provided a nice reprieve from crunching numbers and analyzing matchups for DFS lineups, but it is time to get back into the swing (pun intended) of things with Friday night’s 13-game slate. My top two pitching options were pretty simple to find but I’m going way off the board with my Darkhorse play for the night. At the plate, there are three stacks that should be highly owned including the Astros and the two teams that made my Top Stack list tonight. Let’s stack and attack!

With the MLB All-Star game approaching next week, this will be my last On the Hill article for a week. The Friday 13-game slate has a plethora of pitching options and hitter stacks to consider, so I’ll give you my honorable mention list of pitchers and stacks that just missed the cut. On the mound, also consider Martin Perez and Julio Teheran. At the plate, give stacks for the Blue Jays, Astros, and Diamondbacks a look. Now for the pitchers and stacks that did make the cut.
