MLB – On the Hill (3 Up / 3 Down) – April 12

Wow, there was a lot of offense last night, I knew I didn’t like any of those pitchers very much. Wednesday night features another 10-game slate where the pitching options aren’t much better but I feel like I have a better feeling about some of them. Baseball has a way of evening out and I think tonight is one of those nights where hot bats cool off and cold bats heat up.

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – April 11th

Tuesday night’s 10-game slate features another game at Coors Field and while the Rockies’ bats didn’t produce last night with only three runs it is hard to imagine them not being able to beat up on the Padres’ fly-baller Jered Weaver. As expected the experts agree with seven Rockies’ hitters recommended by at least three experts. However, there is one other team that features six hitters on the Consensus list so be sure to sign up for our premium content to find out which team could be a good pivot option.

The MLB Consensus article will part of the premium content every day expect Wednesday and the weekend this season. Sign up now for a FREE 7-day trial so you don’t miss any of the content here at DailyOverlay.

Scroll to the bottom of the article for the “Top Stacks” section that lists out the teams with the most hitters being recommended by the experts today. Also, be sure to check each team’s lineup when it is released and watch the weather before finalizing your lineups tonight.

Let’s play ball!

MLB – On the Hill (3 Up / 3 Down) – April 11

My 3 Up pitcher recommendations had a rough day yesterday but my non-Rockies hitter stacks performed very well with the Nationals scoring 14 runs and the Reds running wild on the basepaths against the Pirates as I expected. Tuesday looks like another difficult night to find pitching you can trust with a lot of mid-rotation […]

MLB – On the Hill (3 Up / 3 Down) – April 7

Now we are rolling right along as the MLB season is in full swing. We have a solid 10-game main slate Friday night to kick off the first weekend series of the season to give us some fresh matchups to explore. Of course, we are also now at the end of the team’s rotations which […]

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – April 6th

We have a mini four-game “main” night slate on Thursday after a variety of days games throughout the afternoon. Despite the spread out schedule of games, we were still able to pull together a solid list of picks from the DFS experts to form the Consensus list for tonight. With no high-priced pitchers on the […]

MLB – On the Hill (3 Up / 3 Down) – April 6

Thursday’s On the Hill column will focus on the small four-game “main” night slate. Oh where, oh where have the ace pitchers gone?!?! Thursday’s slate is sure void of top of the line pitchers as we are now on the fourth day of the MLB season. So, I needed to look for an angle to […]

MLB – Industry Expert Consensus – April 5th

We have our first main slate of the season with double-digit games (12) tonight. With the big slate, the experts are very spread out on their recommendations with no player selected by more than nine experts. Also, there are a ton of stack options to choose from but only two of them (Phillies, Dodgers) feature […]

MLB – On the Hill (3 Up / 3 Down) – April 5

My recommendations will focus on the 12-game night slate as team wrap up their first series of the season. My pitcher recommendation performed very well yesterday with Jake Arrieta, Lance McCullers and CC Sabathia all getting a win. The hitter stacks didn’t perform as well as Monday but still provided decent production. Tonight’s slate offers […]

MLB – On the Hill (3 Up / 3 Down) – April 4

Oh yeah, Opening Day was fun! It was even more fun if you took my Contrarian stack recommendation of the Dodgers including Yasmani Grandal. Now we can ride the high of Monday into Tuesday and start grinding out some DFS baseball with a solid eight-game night slate. I’m not too excited about the pitching options […]
