Ownership could be fairly spread out tonight, especially on the pitching side, which should make for an interesting Wednesday night of baseball. Interestingly both Stephen and I are rolling with the same pitchers in our GPP lineups tonight, Pomeranz and Hernandez. Hopefully they both rack up the points!
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

Cash Narrative – Pomeranz is my favorite pitcher on the slate and I think is viable in both Cash and GPP lineups tonight. Pairing him with Garcia who was great in his last outing and gets a weak Reds’ offense as a big favorite tonight. Since I was able to get some value with my pitching, I was able to pay up for some bats, who all are on the Consensus list tonight.

GPP Narrative – The Consensus list seems to be overlooking the Red Sox offense tonight even though they have the 2nd highest implied runs total tonight. Well, I am not going to overlook them as I am going with a full five-man stack of the Red Sox including off the board plays of Pedrioa, Bogaerts, Betts and Benintendi. I am also doubling down on Pomeranz on the pitching side and pairing him with King Felix. Then getting value plays from the Consensus list to round out my lineup.

Cash Narrative – I totally screwed up in my BvP write up today about the Rangers and Rockies being at Coors, so forgive me on that. I am using both teams some plus Blue Jays in both lineups tonight. Mahtook is off the board and Melvin Upton is a consensus replacement for Bautista.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – I think Pomeranz and Hernandez are both on the cheap, but GPP only due to recent struggles (though maybe Felix is finally coming around?). The wind is blowing out in Boston, so that worries me a little. Anyway, I can’t ever bring myself to pay up for Happ, so I will go Mahtook again and Saunders as off-the-board plays here.
