The weekend has finally arrived, let’s see if we can start it off with some DFS wins!
Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:
- We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
- For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
- For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
- We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.
As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Game Lineup
Cash Narrative – I like both my lineups in Cash and GPP formats as they both have some chalky aspects and some more contrarian pieces. This lineup has the chalk pitcher of the night, Mr. Greinke so I’ll classify it as my Cash game lineup (although I will also play it in a GPP). Two value pitchers and a minimum salary off the board play of Mahtook batting leadoff allow me to get some big bats with home run potential into my lineup.
GPP Lineup
GPP Narrative – As I said in my Cash game write-up, I’ll like both these lineups in both formats.tongiht. This lineup features two high-priced pitchers with high floors and upside and a bunch of value hitters. The only off the board play is a minimum salary Benintendi.

Cash and GPP Lineups
Lineup Narrative: I had intended to make two lineups, but I always throw my cash games in a GPP anyway and I really liked the balance of this lineup (some top bats and arms) with a mix of some value plays with upside in poor matchups. Let’s see how this goes. Profar is my off-the-board play in the leadoff spot for the Rangers while Judge and Sanchez provide pop and youth against an aging Jered Weaver (who you should always target against IMO). Harper and McCutchen, along with Greinke and Altuve are all BvP plays for me tonight. I would have Daniel Murphy here too, but he isn’t in the lineup. Bryant fulfills my Coors exposure. I think all of my guys have high floors with high upside tonight.
