Another Cash game win on DraftKings on Wednesday as I go for #10 in a row tonight. Matt also got into the win column with his FanDuel Cash game lineup on Wednesday but we are all struggling with our GPP lineups recently. So tonight I took more of a Cash game approach by not stacking more than three hitters and building my entire DK GPP lineup from the Consensus list. Worth a try…

Here is a list of the “rules” we are following when constructing lineups:

  1. We will make two separate lineups for each site (FanDuel and DraftKings), one for Cash games and one for GPP tournaments.
  2. For Cash games, we will build the core of our lineup from the Consensus list using any player listed regardless of what tier they are in and will be allowed to choose 1 player that is not on the Consensus list that we consider to be a good play.
  3. For GPP games, we are allowed to choose up to add 2-3 players that are not on the Consensus list to help complete a hitter stack or we consider to be a good play.
  4. We can modify any lineup as we see fit for any late-breaking lineup news that opens up good options even if they are not on the Consensus list.

As always be sure to check for late-breaking news regarding weather and lineups.

Cash Narrative – Every time I play Sale, he craps the bed. Seattle has potential to further that truth. I love the Cardinals righties against Detwiler. Off the board play is Marisnick as a salary saver.

GPP Lineup

GPP Narrative – I’m hoping this is one of those multi-homer nights for the Cardinals. If so, this lineup might fare well. I had a hard time putting Phelps in there but then I went back and looked at his stats in the starting rotation. Mini stacks of Blue Jays and Nationals. Moss was the only off the board play.

Cash Game Lineup

Cash

Cash Narrative – I started with pitching for my Cash game lineup pairing the two most selected pitchers from the Consensus list, both of whom I also recommended in my “On the Hill” article today. On the hitting side, I had to grab some of the value options including one off the board play at catcher without any cheap options available. So I went with d’Arnaud who has a good shot to go deep tonight against lefty Adam Morgan.

GPP Lineup

GPP

GPP Narrative – Doubling-down on Phelps in both of my lineups tonight and pairing him with a cheap Gio Gonzalez so I can get some big bats into my lineup. All of my hitters have big power and multiple home run potential including a mini Blue Jays stack and a pair of Astros. I like this lineup enough to throw it into a Cash game lineup as well.

One Lineup to Rule them All (Cash and GPP)

Lineup Analysis: I am double-dipping tonight, dropping one lineup for both cash and GPP lineups. I do this with my cash game lineup anyway and I didn’t feel like making a second lineup. Raburn and Cruz are off-the-board plays as well as BvP picks tonight (and Altuve). I got a nice stack of BJs (giggle) along with Goldy and a Ruggiano punt. I don’t like Verlander that much tonight because I think K potential is limited, but I am hopeful he pitches deep. Phelps is on everyone’s radar so this is a classic situation where he might underwhelm. I am rolling with it as well though. Good luck!
